I really love this product. If you are going to build and keep the build for a while, it will increase the longevity of this item. My son loves marble runs and things like this, so he creates many different ones. The problem we ran into was that the prongs that connect the pieces together either lost their grip or broke off completely. I would be surprised if my son weren't responsible for them breaking, but the grip action was due to the number of times he would take them apart and start something new. Marble runs are better for this creative, rough little boy.

My 5-year-old and I have been creating some fun little marble runs with these. I can confirm this brand works with the Picasso and Desire Deluxe sets. I can't say how long they'll hold up, but I haven't treated them with kid gloves. No problems as of yet. Great fun for a huge age range.

The whole idea of magnetic blocks is for kids to easily assemble and dissemble shapes fast and creatively. the way u r supposed to link the tubes to the magntic blocks is not though magnets, it's though cheap plastic pluggable that are very hard for a 3/4 years old hand to get correctly, it was challenging to me at first till i get it it right. I am very disappointed with this game, the creators looks like they have no idea what's magnetic blocks are about. i opened it a year after a ibought, else i would have returned it immediately.

The picture makes it seem like you should be able to build lots of things and have a lot of fun. You can't build much and there isn't enough pieces to make anything super fun. My toddler got bored very quickly. Pieces also break easily.
