The MagnaFlow Catalytic Converter 51097, was installed 6/08/2025 and has performed great as of this date. I hope I never have to go through the issues I have had with cheaper units again, thanks to this set of cats. Don't waste your money on the less expensive units to save some money, believe me it won't actually save you anything. After purchasing these cats, I had a small issue with shipping and contacted the seller who was quick to answer back and resolve the issue/concern right away. Very responsive and easy to deal with. The fit of the units, was as good as OEM if not better. I did the initial burn in of 5 minutes running at idle and then 5 minutes running at 2,000 rpm and watched the O2 sensors begin to function as they should and drove for 3 days at normal operation and then went to eCheck and passed as it should. ... show more

These were a perfect fit for my 2000 silverado ext cab z71 5.3L. I did not have to loosen one bolt on my transmission cross member. I loosened my exhaust hangers from the Y pipe back so i could slide the exhaust back and forth. It did not come with the clamp as shown for the slip joint.
