Comes with plastic bag that you can put them back into. The date of production was relatively recent. They probably need some outer gloves to protect them from being ripped up or made dirty. I use them for home electrical experiments; 450v or such. They aren't going to stop super high voltages though. ... show more

These gloves seem well made and fit for their purpose (household voltage insulation to 240v) but do run a bit large. I have fairly big hands (but not fat fingers) and a size 10 glove would normally fit well, but is somewhat too large in these gloves. I would've exchanged for one size smaller but they were out of stock at the time ... show more

Many other gloves in this category have a terrible rubber smell to them, but these do not. Also these are date stamped so theoretically they've been tested. Mine were stamped several months ago, so if I were doing annual cert on these I'd have lost a bunch of time, but I'm not - but if it's a concern, you may want to ask the seller for details. ... show more

These gloves arrived within the time frame expressed. Upon inspection - they are labeled to be rated and tested up to "2,500 V", and advertised as to meet or exceed ASTM D120-09 specs - advertised as Class 00 protection We have our doubts - as these gloves are as thin as dish washing gloves you can but at the dollar store and much shorter than expected (little wrist coverage). Much thinner than our last pair of electricians gloves we have exhausted. Unless the regulations have seriously changed, or the material's insulation properties have drastically progressed ... we have some serious inhibitions on de minimis violation of the 29 CFR 1910.137 standard. These gloves will be used on 120 VDC / 240 VDC projects, so not a waste of the money invested. But due to the quality, we will refuse to allow our mechanics to utilize these gloves on 480 VDC, and will refer to local electrical safety manufactures and distributors for a more confident and unquestionable pair of gloves.
