We followed the directions and burned off the initial smoke outside. We had sliced brisket, sausage and chicken on there for a few hours on the low setting and it was perfect. Bought to replace a food warmer of mine that died. This is a good size and can fit a lot of plates/food containers. Be careful in setting the control knob as this item takes a while to heat but once it heats up it’s hot.

Used 4 for serving buffet food for many hours. The temp control works great! I used an upside aluminum pan for some items that needed less heat. The size fits one full size catering can longwise with room all around or two pans shirt wise but they stick over the edges. Easy to clean gets hot and cools down quickly. The only thing is my aluminum pans slide all around when trying to scoop food. I still recommend but I’m trying to figure out how to stabilize the pans. Starbucks traveler coffee boxes stayed hot too! ... show more

It was quite large so I put it on a separate card table to keep the food warm for the holiday. My sister-in-law loved it so it was a hit.

    • Perfect warmer for family gathering
These warmers are the best!!! I bought 3 for a family gathering at my home; it works so much better and easier than the foil pan with water method- just be careful as the medium setting keeps certain food warm and almost too hot- the pasta started to get brown at the bottom; but the fried chicken was perfect on medium all night; next time I will keep the warmers at low and see if I need to higher the temperature- even with that they are sleek and look like they cost a lot more- Everyone asked where I got them and wanted to put the dishes they brought on them- highly recommend- also they are not heavy if you need to carry them to another location ... show more
