    • Like being able to turn off the unlock feature.

Other customers should know how to turn off the unlock, very easy to do. Press sever then press 9 and then press and hold the unlock button for 3 seconds. U will see unlock appear on the timer screen. Such a nice feature. I absolutely love love this little microwave. It meets all my needs.

Good microwave. But the lock is annoying. Also there is no light which is also annoying. I destroyed my last Magic Chef (Don’t ask) which was bigger so it takes a little longer to cook but it takes up less space in my small kitchen..

Do not get a black one! You can’t see the number dial very well at all. The letters and numbers do not stand out and it’s hard to tell what button you’re pushing even with the overhead light on. Today I learned that lesson for sure when I pushed the seven instead of a one ( located directly below it) to heat something up. Suddenly there was smoke – a lot of it.!!!! not the correct setting because I couldn’t see it well enough. The panel does not light up so it blends into the black exterior dangerously. I had white in this model before, and I’m going back to that. To be clear I was the one who messed up, but it really was because I couldn’t see the panel well enough. ... show more

We have two black ones, side by side, b/c we use them All the time! Heat coffee, tea; reheat food; cook veggies; make popcorn; defrost; melt cheese, butter, coconut oil; etc. Magic Chef microwave DOES do 30 second increments; just push power button for 30 seconds or add 30 seconds to your 2 minutes, etc. by pushing power button again after it starts! Somebody asked if you could mute the beeps.... YES! Owner's manual p.17 item #14 says to press & hold 8 for three seconds... it will beep & "off" will display! To deactivate mute, do the same thing again & "on" will display! (Other stuff I didn't realize it does includes ECO function!) ... show more

I've been having a hard time pressing the keys. They just don't work at all most of time. I would ship it back,but I don't have anyway to do that. I will just have to keep plugging away with it. It works good only when I hit the keys just right. Not a fan of it. I'm looking elsewhere.
