This Magic Chef 1.6 cu. ft microwave works well for my household. This my second one, the first one I had was a gift 8 years ago. I like the wide space inside ,heats(hot) really well. Pops microwave popcorn less than 2 minutes with few kernels left in the bag. Easy to clean with the help of warm soap and water. I recommend this one if you have the counter space.

<odel # MC110MW Had a Magic Chef before and when it died, someone gave me a different model. When that died, I bought this Magic Chef and am so happy with it. It is easy to figure out how it works and the features are user friendly. Heat and power performance is as desired. Instruction manual is easy to read. But when trying to register it, on the first page of the manual it provides a Magic Chef link which directed me to the seller, Spreetail. I was asked to choose the model number, but this model number was not listed. Looked up Magic Chef phone number (not listed in the user manual) and was told if the registration process was not working, registration was not necessry - just save a receipt. However, this process does not cover the promised notifications of safety issues nor does it give me back the 30 minutes involved in this process.

I purchased this to replace my basic Toshiba that broke after just one year. So far, though been just a few hours that this was delivered, compared to my basic Toshiba, it’s like night and day. The price was the same, but the quality is far superior. It runs quietly, and the door function is also quiet. Was very easy to turn off the child proof lock. It has a very sleek black appearance. I heated up some leftovers for dinner and it worked extremely well— food was heated evenly. I’m only giving it four stars because I haven’t really used it very much, but I’ll let you know how it goes once I really start using it. Also—and this seems to be a theme with microwaves— it was delivered with a dent in the right side. Luckily that dent is not facing outward so no one sees it, but manufacturers do need to pay attention to this, because I’ve read so many reviews that mention dents so clearly it’s common practice.

Seems to excite the molecules of my specimens in the expected wavelengths and power levels, in a modicum of time segments. Holds many moles of compounds and the resulting radiant heat levels after exposure are evenly distributed throughout. The power interlock mechanism does require an extra additional step to release the access hatch, so organizations with junior scientists will be pleased to know that.

We bought this for a family member who doesn't have a microwave. It is full power, small enough to not be in the way on the counter, large enough to cook a full size dinner plate of food quickly. The Inverter action allows for easy consistent heating and cooking. The interface is easy to read and understand. Simple button presses for most uses. You can disable the child auto-lock with three keypresses. We might buy one for ourselves. Highly recommended!

Update August 30. As I am now at the 3 month mark of owning this microwave I figured I would come back and give a quick update. I am just as happy now with this microwave as I was at the time of my original review. I still feel the same way that this microwave is definitely money well spent. My original review is below. I have only had this microwave for about 2 weeks but considering there are currently no reviews for it I decided to go ahead and write one based on what my experience has been so far. After my Panasonic microwave that I only owned for 10 months decided to die without warning and the manufacture not being any help I went looking for a new microwave. The first microwave I came across was highly rated on Amazon and was made by Bella. I almost purchased that microwave but my girlfriend was insistent that The microwave have a pushbutton for the door instead of a pole handle. Because of this I continue to look and came across this one from magic chef. The first thing that I noticed aside from the fact that it had the button my girlfriend was looking for was that it had an identical keypad to the first one that I looked at. Doing a quick browsing of the owners manual for both microwaves I confirmed that the interface was the same and that the magic chef looks to be a slightly bigger version of the Bella microwave. I normally don’t take chances on items with no reviews but since this looks to be almost the same and the other one was rated so highly I purchased it. Fast forward to now and I can honestly say that I am very glad that I took the chance that I did. We have put this microwave through its paces ever since we got it and everything we have asked it to do has come back with great results. One of the biggest things that I have noticed since we switched to the magic chef is how it heats. With our previous Panasonic we would find spots where food would be bubbling and other spots where it would be ice cold. This new microwave definitely does a lot better of a job with providing even heating. We have warmed up everything from lasagna to soup with great success. My girlfriend also fixes eggs in it for breakfast and she said that she is also a lot happier with the newer one than she was with our previous unit. I have so far only found a couple of small quirks that I wish were different. The first that I noticed was with the kitchen timer. Unfortunately you cannot use the kitchen timer and expect to use the microwave at the same time. I know there are other manufacturers who do have this ability so was a bit disappointed to see that this microwave does not. The other quirk is with the display. Considering they had all of the extra space that they do I was surprised to see that they went with a smaller display for the time. Neither one of these issues are dealbreaker’s and I would definitely recommend this microwave. I know this review is early so I will come back and update it if I come across any issues.
