Cheap!! Doesn’t look like what’s pictured at all! Flimsy glass. Cork tops arrived with chunks missing out of 1/2. Mis-cut match strikes. Went to return and seller doesn’t offer return so they will be going in the trash and I wasted my money. Awful! Do Not Buy These!

I really was excited about these but they've left much to be desired. I contacted the company before posting as a couple were broken or didn't have a tip at all. After responding to them with how many were damaged their response was, " That is good to hear. We do include 10 to 20 extra because we understand that some matches may break in transit or during use. We always want to make sure each customer has at least 200 good matches per order." That's fine and I appreciate someone being proactive. Other than damaged ones I'm still not honestly impressed. They burn quickly and feel like very cheap toothpicks. When handling a match I don't want to feel like it may fall apart and end up lighting something else on fire. ... show more

In the image, the match on the right is from the product listing and the match on the left (the longer one) is from diamond (99 cent “strike on box” matches). The head of the match is a nice bright, emerald green color and is a true 2 inches, versus the match on the left which is 2.25 inches. I had been looking for green tipped matches to go with holiday gifts and impulsively bought this box of 200 matches for $20, not knowing I could get 300 of nearly the same thing for under a dollar.. (but hey, that’s on me) If you are specifically looking for a green match to coordinate with a wedding theme, etc, I would recommend going with diamond matches. Frankly, they look nicer and the “stem” is far sturdier making it less likely to snap during striking. ... show more

Matches don't work, plain and simple. They are flimsy and break when you try and light. Oh, and they never light. Spent $21 on matches, I can't believe it. So mad at myself.

Bought these “decorative” matches to go in a small stone match striker. They look fine but I can’t get one to light! Have tried several different strikers and the match stick breaks but never lights! The only way I have gotten one to light is by using a lighter. Save your money...

Seller says no refunds so I contacted Amazon who gave me an Amazon credit for the same amount I paid. I then began climbing mountain ranges to find an item “made by and shipped by” Amazon to use the credit, but eventually I did find a cool item. After badgering the seller for not permitting refunds - BECAUSE ODDLY, *MAILING BACK* MATCHES IS DANGEROUS, BUT MAILING THEM TO ME IN THE FIRST PLACE IS SOMEHOW PERFECTLY SAFE - seller eventually sent me a prepaid return slip to return. I thought, maybe “no returns” is just a deterrent? Anyway, I appreciated the gesture, but I have very little time to print the label, box it, locate a UPS, wait in line, then wait for the refund- & I decided to just enjoy the item I found with the Amazon credit. I initially contacted this company because about 20-40 matches were badly cut @splintered all over & they were very inconsistent on the whole. A few also burned strangely quickly like I had accesseda a flaming time warp zone, but if I was firing up the ol’ “tobacco water pipe,” my fingers would’ve been some sad little love digits. Lastly, the best deal for bulk, bright colored matches I found is on eBay - far better than these - a seller in Lithuania 🇱🇹 if you’re so inclined towards a reasonable alternative - cost wise, they are a few bucks less and over twice as many (strangely. far better, right?) ... show more

    • Good for decoration; for actual lighting things? Not so much.
If all you want is a color coordinated accessory for your room, these will do fine, although you'll have to weed out about 1 in 20 matches for misshapen heads. But if you want them to also be functional (like as a bathroom "air freshener" *wink*) then there are some caveats: 1) the forementioned misshapen heads. Some are too small to light properly 2) I can't seem to get them to light on any other strikeplate (like a matchbox for example) and I even have a hard time getting them to light with the included strike paper 3) the heads are prone to to crumbling, especially if the humitidity is high. 4) they're fragile, so I'm as likely to break the matchstick as light it successfully 5) neither the head nor the wood smell very good when burnt (and yes, I got mine partly as a bathroom "air freshener") ... show more
