I’ve had other torches, that the ignition gives out after 4or 5 uses and can’t withstand being on for more than 10-15 seconds, but this eagle torch stands up to 45 to 60 seconds of continuous browning and melting ingredients on desserts and dishes and lights back up. I've ordered the same exact 4 pack several times. For whatever reason this time all four lighters failed in a very short period of time. I'm not too sure why because my use was the same as always and it was the same part the failed on all 4 lighters. I'll purchase them one more time and write another review in a month or two to inform others of my personal perspective on if the issue was just a one time thing.     • 1 out of 4 isn’t bad right?
Both myself and my husband love these lighters because they’re easy to use. Some days our hands just don’t seem to want to work with us since our careers involve hands on everything we do. It takes a toll eventually and we rely on these for daily activities such as cooking. Every time we buy a set within a week or two the red one stops working properly like it’s not letting enough butane out to stay lit. Then not much long after that the black one goes but opposite effect, it’s letting out plenty of fuel but won’t light. The blue one puts in some efforts but surely quits after a bit. The green one works great still have them! ... show more

The torches were ok but they stopped working after a month or so. I do not recommend for heavy use because they will stop working from getting to hot. They work fine for light use lighting grill or something on those lines.

Overlooking the word “Jumbo,” the only thing that surprised me other than how well they worked was they were larger than expected. They’re a little larger than an expo dry erase marker, which I like a lot because that allows them to hold a higher amount of butane leading to less refilling. The flame is adjustable within a little over an inch to about two inches and is consistent the whole time it’s lit. It has lit on the first push since I’ve gotten it. Never misses a light. THEASE TORCHES ARE A GREAT VALUE !!!I HAVE BOUGHT 4 SETS !!!MY FRIENDS LIKE THEM SOOOO MUCH I HAVE REPLACED THEM 3 TIMES !!! I WILL VERY LIKELY REPLACE THEM 3 MORE TIMES AS MY "FRIENDS" ARE STILL AROUND AND THEY ARE GREAT TORCHES !!!
