The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the MAGEASY CoverBuddy for my M4 iPad Pro for several weeks now and it’s hands, down one of the best add, ons I’ve tried. The magnet strength is spot on, solid enough to keep the iPad firmly on the Magic Keyboard and hold the Apple Pencil securely in place, but not so strong that it’s a struggle to remove when needed. I haven’t experienced any accidental detaches, which was a game changer for me. As for protection, it’s clear this isn’t a rugged case, but it guards beautifully against everyday scratches and scuffs. I toss my setup into my backpack all the time and still have a flawless backplate, plus the premium PU leather finish resists stains and feels durable. The graphene enhanced shell also seems to help with heat dissipation, keeping the iPad noticeably cooler during extended use. One of the smartest design touches is how easy it is to install, just snap the iPad into the frame, line up the smart connector, and you’re off. I had it on and fully functional with the Magic Keyboard in less than 30 seconds. And once it’s in place, using the iPad is effortless. Conceptually this is an excellent product. The part is very well made, fits perfectly and protects the iPad where it is most vulnerable in use on a Magic Keyboard. Where it unfortunately breaks down is in the contact from the unit to the iPad itself. It uses three spring loaded pins embedded into the remarkably thin plastic to carry the connection from the keyboard to the iPad as an intermediary. In less than 7 days of actual use, two of the pins no longer extend from the case to contact the back of the iPad reliably. This makes the keyboard function intermittently and prevents the keyboard connection from charging the iPad. I am returning the item and disappointed it didn’t work as hoped for given the description and the obvious quality of the majority of the part. Excellent concept and production let down by the engineering and execution of three small, very difficult to make parts.

The case fits with the Magic Keyboard perfectly, is slim, lightweight, easy to put on/off, and aesthetically pleasing. Generally works great but overpriced for what it is (ultimately just a slim and flimsy case that only partially covers the iPad). However, my biggest gripe with the case is that when charging the iPad (via iPad port) while attached to the Magic Keyboard, the case somehow interferes with the connection to the keyboard so it can’t be used when charging. It’s an easy workaround though, since it works fine when I charge via Magic Keyboard port. Just frustrating when MK + (iPad + charger) = MK not work; but (MK + charger) + iPad = MK work fine. I know it’s not the MK itself because it works perfectly fine when I take the case off. Not sure if I got a defective one, or if it’s intentional.

Ipad pro 11/M5- Looks very sleek and leather is very nice. Cons:It is plastic and thin. i don’t think there is much protection. I wish it was line with rubber on the edges only. Overall, fits well and work as intended, functional connects well to Magic Keyboard.

This was a great case until it wasn’t. The pass through terminals stopped working, so the keyboard stopped working. Two out of the three “nubs” are stuck and don’t spring back and forth like they’re supposed to. So they don’t make proper contact, and now the keyboard just doesn’t work without a connection. Once I remove the case, the keyboard works fine again

I was searching for several cases until I finally decided on Coverbuddy for my 2024 iPad Pro M4 and it has a function that prevents it from getting hot, making it much cooler than other cases. This slim iPad Pro M4 case is ideal if you have a Magic Keyboard. It's lightweight, easy to installation, and well-built. Its design is designed to work with the Magic Keyboard's magnets and holds it very well. I love that it lets you store the Pencil without it falling out when you store it or move it, and for the price, I feel it's worth it compared to all the other options I have found.
