Such great quality and wonderful design...hopefully no more broken toes! This model doesn't have the extra "third leg " on the side and the legs at the foot of the bed are rounded on the outside edges. Safety covered all the wa around! Plenty of room under for storage. I'm a 65 year old female and easily was able to assemble. This frame is so strong and secure feeling. No sounds or movement when you get in bed. I am so happy I went with this model!

This is a superior product. Very easy to assemble. Super sturdy, which is what I was looking for. It doesn’t move at all, no shifting or creaking when you move. Great for a small space too because it isn’t bulky, but still solid as a rock. And what I also love is it only has 4 posts, so I don’t hit my foot on any middle posts when doing laundry by the side of the bed. I don’t know why more frames aren’t made like this. 14 inch is also good for storage underneath

Was simple enough to put together with 2 people. It's stable & sturdy. Greatly expands the underbed storing capacity. The mattress doesnt slip around any more on this than any other frame or boxspring. (Just use some anti-slip grip liner if it's a problem) An occasional tightening every so many months might be a good idea for 225+lb folks... especially if anyone tends to toss/turn. Boards being on velcro straps is nice. ***BUT*** Though the support boards are strong , they're made of a flexible wood that bows with just enough give to create dips on each side & creates a hard ridge down the middle support beam. Plywood or 1× trimming strips cut to fit are a fix for this. We half expected this due to other reviews. Even with the work/added expense, was still a good value.

This frame was easy to put together since we had room to assemble it before taking the old one apart. The reasons we bought this one are (1) wood slats were required by the bed manufacturer to keep the warrantee, and (2) we want to take advantage of the space underneath for general storage. We are taller people so the bed height was not a big issue. With a thick mattress, this bed will be too far off the floor for most people. The frame is stable, does not make any noise, and the quality of the pieces seems good.

We were so impressed with this bed that we also ordered a queen-sized bed. Metal bed frames can be squeaky and wobbly, but not this one! The construction is heavy-weight and solid. I'm a restless sleeper and this bed doesn't move or make noise when I move. I LOVE the rounded legs. They are knee savers! I also like the fact that the 2 extra legs are attached to the middle support and not along the edges. Saves toes and makes the space more accessible for storage tubs. My husband was able to put the bed together quickly and without any issues. He was impressed with how well it is made. It IS tall, but I wanted the underbed height for storage tubs. I'm 5'3" and, with our 9" thick mattress, the bed hits me at the top of my thighs. I'm 72 and have no problem getting up on the bed, but if your pets sleep with you, they may need steps. If you are looking for a bed with storage, I would highly recommend this one!

This bed arrived in a very heavy (2 person!) box but the pieces inside were helpfully bundled together in smaller amounts so they were easier to move. The instructions are simple and the minimal hardware is packaged conveniently. It includes the only tool you'll need, a hex key. I used my impact driver to make things go faster and was done with assembly in about a half hour. The rounded edges of the legs are a lovely detail, leaving nothing for anyone to bang their feet/legs on if your mattress, like my mom's, is sized just right and completely covers the edges/corners of the frame. Using this with a thick foam mattress and Mom can't feel the wood slats or center support bar at all, something I saw as an issue in reviews for similar beds. It feels absolutely solid and is utterly silent when you move around. Very pleased with this purchase.

This frame is heavy duty, sturdy, easy to assemble and silent. So far the plastic mattress holders are keeping the mattress in place and haven't broken. Update: still loving this frame. Neglected to mention one very important element, the center supports which are not at the edges of the frame where you can stub your toes, but under the center of the frame.
