This frame is Surprisingly Sturdy and contains everything needed. I was doubtful that 4 hollow metal legs could support a twin bed without flexing using only 2 bolts to connect each horizontal cross member to each leg. So far the bed has not jiggled, so my backup plan to add extra brackets was not required. I was also concerned that the approximate 3 inch gap between the slats supporting the mattress would not support a mattress without a box spring. I thought it would require a sheet of plywood, so I had one standing by to add. I was happy to learn that the slats are sufficient and plywood is not needed with no perceptible sag between slats when looking under the bed. Assembly was not difficult, but smaller hands would be better to start the the bolts into the threads. There is not much space for a wrench and no way to fit any electric driver in the space. ... show more

It is very well made and strong. I like the rounded legs and the slats are full length. Velcro strips are stapled at the ends of each slat so placement of the slats on the rail means no measurement between the slats is necessary. There is mating velcro attached to the rails. All hardware is bolted together with allen head bolts which have lock tight on the threads. It took a little effort to get the bolts started (because of the lock tight) , but then everything went together perfectly. With the lock tight and lock washers I expect not to have to do any future tightening of the hardware. A well designed and well made bed frame. ... show more

All metal products were nicely packaged and smooth materials, no metal fragments. All went together easily. Loved the quality of the wood slats, all nicely selected materials. The Velcro on the slats fit nicely on the matching bed rails to hold the them all nicely spaced.

My son ordered this bedframe and the first frame came damaged (the reason for only 4 stars). The ends of the side rails were bent and so he returned it. It looked like those two rails had been replaced, as if they were swaped out when someone else may have returned the frame. The inside packaging around those two side rails was not secured in the box like the rest of the product and so it was suspisous. Upon returning the bedframe (easy to do... UPS came and picked it up), another was ordered and sent then received within 5 days. The second frame was great and nothing was bent and the packaging was secure. It is a high frame; 14" off the floor with a lot of storage space under the bed. Seems quite sturdy and durable. I recommend this frame - just check the packaging and end caps to make sure everthing is flat and square. ... show more

I assembled it by myself in about one hour. The hardware lined with the pre-fabricated holes perfectly. My regular king size 8” deep Tempurpedic mattress fits great and without the box springs, there is lots of storage space underneath the bed. I like the rounded legs.
