Yup, the reviews were right. Heavy, but just a lot of pieces that are drop dead simple to assemble. Snug fit for some cross pieces (we did use a hammer to tap them in). Gap between the cross pieces conceivably could be an issue, but we had a thin wood panel that just happened to fit to provide the mattress the base the warranty required. Now some have mentioned that the mattress might slide. We solved that by using waffle-y shelf liner that solved the problem. Thin foam will also work to "glue" the mattress to the base. Discrete and sturdy. Will accommodate a headboard with the several holes on the legs. Remember to order the height that will work with your mattress. Different height options is a useful to get the right overall bed height. In short, an excellent product that much exceeded our expectation. Beautifully finished and darned substantial. Not at all like some flimsy things.

I have a twin size bed. I have for many years and had a box spring because my frame required it. It was the NOISIEST thing to sit on or get up from. On a whim because I could afford it, I opted to finally look into getting a new frame. Through lots of browsing I decided on this one. First, without my box spring, my sleeping experience is utterly silent now. I had no idea my box spring was such an issue until the pure blissful silence greeted my ears. It should be noted that my mattress is memory foam. Spring mattress' might possibly make noise, which isn't the frames fault. Second, sliding. This frame has no shelf or way to keep the mattress from moving. Even if you're a generally a still sleeper, it might nudge ever so slightly over time as you get up or lay down. I was aware of this before I bought this frame after reading a few other reviews. This might be a more annoying issue for larger bed sizes. I took another reviewers idea and added textured grippers to the top of the frame for my bed to sit on. The cheap rubber stickies meant for furniture legs at Walmart work fine, you can even cut them to size. Third, I had a wooden headboard already and was able to easily make it work with this frame. The frame itself was so easy to put together, it took less than thirty minutes. Make sure your screws are tight! You are sleeping on this and want it secure. I had no issues with the bars popping out or falling. If I'm being honest, I'm not actually sure how that would even happen unless you are picking up the frame and moving it with the bed off. I've not experienced any wobbling or instability either. I've had this frame for over a week now and am still happy with it. The only reason I gave four stars was because of the sliding issue, but as I mentioned, that isn't anything that can't be handled with a few tricks. I'm sure there are even more methods to manage it, but that was the one I opted for.

Easy assembly. Doesn’t squeak or rattle. Good storage underneath. Not sure I understand why I need a boxspring? So expensive for some cheap wood and fabric that costs as much as a mattress. In a few nights my back felt 100% better. The old box spring was giving and slightly bowing my bed. With this frame, my mattress is perfectly flat and gives even support. I wasn’t expecting this benefit. Very pleased. Plus. With some sliders under the legs and your bed can move easily when needed. Easy for making a bed if one side is against the wall.

I got tired of mattress sales people telling me I need to have box springs. When we ordered our new mattress online, we chose to get this frame since online mattresses don't push box springs. We had purchased a twin size frame like this and were quite pleased. My grandsons and I assembled it in about 20 minutes.

This twin XL frame is just the right size for my XL mattress. It takes a little while to assemble, but everything's there that you need. It's got 12" of clearance under and is quiet. It's sturdy and supports my mattress well.

I’ve purchased this bed twice. The first time around, in 2023, it was a decent product — easy to put together, felt solid and substantial, experienced some mattress sliding but nothing that interfered with my actual sleep. I would have given it four stars. Then I moved in 2025, and I figured it would be simplest to get rid of the old frame and buy another one. Evidently there has been a change. The second frame was built much differently than the first one. Many of the slats were irregularly sized, so some were tightly wedged into the frame, while others were loose. One eventually fell out onto the floor. The variations in size started causing squeaking noises. No problem, should be an easy enough fix — I Googled every single remedy for squeakiness and tried them all. Moving the 200 lbs mattress, going over the frame, tightening every screw, WD-40, felt, tape. Boards laid horizontally, boards laid vertically. Zip ties, no zip ties. It has gotten squeakier and squeakier and squeakier and now (just a few months after purchase) we are so fed up, we’re ready to throw the entire thing in the trash at 3 AM. It has gotten so gosh darn loud, it wakes everybody in the house whenever either of us rolls over or gets up. We are constantly waking up in the middle of the night, over and over again, and it’s torture to try and go back to sleep when you can’t even breathe deeply without CREAKKKKKK. I should have returned this sooner instead of wasting time trying every anti-squeak fix on the entire internet. So frustrated and sleep deprived right now. I’d give zero stars if it were possible, and caution buyers that old reviews might reflect another version of the bed (unless ours is just uniquely defective, who knows). So much time and money down the drain, “dissatisfied” doesn’t even approach how irritated we are with this purchase.
