What are my backpack requirements? Pockets, of course, one of which is padded to accommodate a computer. Zippers that don’t jump the teeth or bind. Adjustable straps, and a handle for carrying it like luggage. And I’m typically not packing for a fortnight abroad, so it needn’t be overly large. Not only does this backpack satisfy those requirements, it also adds a detachable pocket in which you can stash your passport, airplane tickets, and ID, should you nevertheless decide to skedaddle for a while. (And keep in mind that you stand a better chance of getting a backpack into the airplane cabin with you than you do with a rolling bag.) It has a compartment for your shoes, and elastic side pockets for your drinks, for where would you be without your kombucha? A compartment at the rear – closest to your back when you’re backpacking – protects your valuables. But any of these compartments can be used for whatever you want. In truth, my adult daughter has commandeered this bag, and she loves it. It replaces the tote-bag-style bag she’d been carrying, and she is delighted to now be able to literally compartmentalize her work life, social life, and home life into the appropriate pockets. Great travel backpack for laptops, tablets, clothing, shoes and more. Lots of pockets (to lose stuff in, hah). Looks like the zipper pulls are well made. The Shoulder straps are padded as is the top corners of the backpack where it touches your shoulders. The space where your laptop and tablet goes is padded. It has a place to put shoes (not boots) that is ventilated. It has a removable pouch that can hold all kinds of essentials and it can be securely strapped to the backpack. The snap buck and straps seem to be well made.It looks small at first but it can expand to accommodate quite a bit of stuff. Not sure if it is waterproof or even water resistant. This will be great for my many trips I have planned for this year. Looking forward to a real test in real life. It comes with a two year warranty that you need to activate with 15 days of receiving the backpack. I think overall it is going to be a handy item to haave.

When I first took this backpack out of the packaging, my initial thought was that it was too small. It's the size of a "normal" backpack but not a bit larger like many travel backpacks. However, once I began to assess all of the storage compartments and the likelihood of using them all, I realized it was just about perfectly sized. There is a main clothing compartment that you will not get more than maybe day or two of travel clothes in it. A shoe compartment accessed from the bottom of the pack - which if you pack the clothing area, you would need sandals or "soft" shoes that can compress some because they ultimately occupy the same space. There is a laptop and tablet storage compartment. There's a smaller front pocket area for document, cables, pens, notebooks, etc. And then there are two smaller compartments mounted on the front, one for small items (maybe your earbuds case and cable), and a removable one that you can carry documents/passports in, and you can take it off of the pack to carry alone - it stays on the pack when you want that with a snap buckle and velcro - pretty clever. Overall I think this is a great pack for carrying your electronics and an emergency change of clothing to hedge against lost luggage. Pretty impressed with it. I did find a quality flaw however - the zippers are not the best (I've had far worse, though). And on one of the compartments the zipper teeth are not spaced properly, so you have to finagle the zippers to get it fully closed. Still, a very nice travel pack with lost of latches/buckles to keep it snug, and even has a luggage handle slide so you can affix it to your rollerboard. Very nice.

This backpack is a great weekend getaway or 3 to 4 day backpack trip. Has great storage capacity, seperate compartments for those of us that utilize them, as well as many 3ztra features such as the detachable storage bag, security zipper up against your back, water bottle or can holder, and if you utilize it the shoe section of the bag. If you have sandles that this is a great spot to put them, but if shoes, it does take up quiet a bit of space in the internal storage of the backpack. Pro's: - Great weekend/ 3 to 4 day trip backpack - Detachable carry storage bag - built well - sturdy zippers and compartments - Very xomfortable Con's: - if your have big feet and utilize this section to store shoes, it could be a tight squeeze. Overall: A great backpack for travel, sports or work. Excellent quality, and build with lots of versatile functions and storage.

I grabbed this a few weeks back and it's been a total game changer! This bag is like the Swiss Army knife of backpacks as it effortlessly morphs from a chic crossbody to a sturdy laptop backpack. Whether I’m hustling between meetings or catching a flight, it’s got room for all my essentials (and then some). POCKETS GALORE The laptop compartment fits my 15.6 laptop perfectly. The dedicated shoe compartment is genius (you can maybe fit 2 pairs in there depending on their size and what you have inside). No more mixing up gym shoes with your work gear or having to get a separate gym bag. The 26L capacity feels just right, not too bulky, but enough to keep me organized whether I’m off to work, studying out, or going to work in the ER. Overall, it’s practical, stylish, versatile, and a lot cheaper than an Osprey, etc etc.
