I am really liking this cooler bag. It has so many compartments and is very well made. Most importantly, the insulation is very very good. It's very thick and cushy inside and it indeed holds about 30 cans of 12 oz sodas. I also use suspect in the trunk of my car when getting groceries that need refrigeration. It keeps everything cool for a very long time as long as you put a nice pack inside. There's also a little Velcro flap on top so you can actually get stuff out and put stuff in without opening the zipper and a large hatch, letting out any cool air. So that little Velcro hatch is a really nice touch. I got the white and black with the blue accents. It looks really sharp and stylish. Love the color combo. The bag seems very well made, the zippers are very smooth and comes with shoulder strap, bottle opener and other accessories tucked in. Also, really like that it has so many options to carry such a side handles top handle or shoulder strap. Really well thought out and works really well. Highly recommended!

Good sized, soft side cooler. This will be used as a lunchbox for my husband. Very sturdy, mesh pockets on side, smaller zipper pockets on front and non sealing pocket on back. The velcro lid on top is nice for easy grab and go situations. I think it will keep his food cool for most of the day, with an ice pack, because there is a nice thickness insulation in the sides and top. . There is plenty of room for a full lunch, several energy drinks, snacks and ice pack. I could easily fit another full meal or two in here.

This Maelstrom cooler comes with a large insulated main storage area – large enough for different kinds of hot/cold beverages and/or foodstuff. The contents can be accessed using the traditional zippered top, but also through a special “window” on the top side. There are plenty of smaller storage areas on the outside for different items. There is also a bottle opener. Carrying the cooler can be hands-free using an adjustable strap, or with a handle. I keep it in my car for keeping cold items during shopping trips and store cold drinks when attending outdoors events. The cooler is very well designed and functional. I gladly give it a 5-star rating.

I purchased this for road trips and picked this one for three reasons....first, I can get it in orange. All too often, our cooler blends in with everything else in the back seat. The orange stands out. Second, the flap on the top. We don't have to open it up to access sandwiches, snacks or beverages. As a bonus, that flap is well insulated. Finally, the side handles. Most coolers this side only have a shoulder strap or carry handles. Kind of a PIA to grab it from the side and slide it closer. The side handles make it easy. I like this so much, I am going to use it as my go to cooler on my fishing boat. It is big enough for all day beverages and food. It is well made and I would buy again.

Nice cooler. Right size for up to 12-12 ounce cans plus an ice pack. A total of four side compartments to hold other items. I particularly like the Velcro flap on the top to pull items out of the bag without opening the bag completely. This helps keep the items cool by not requiring the entire top of the bag to be opened when grabbing in item from the bag. Construction appears sturdy. Overall, a nice option.
