At first, I really liked this chair. The cushion was nicely firm and fabric was durable and attractive. After about 9 months though, the seat cushion had become soft and then the recline mechanism broke. At this point I have an unusable chair with no recourse. No response from customer service. The chair is large and heavy, which is OK, but that makes it difficult to get rid of. Extremely unhappy with the very short life of this chair. Update- after speaking with customer service, they are sending me a new chair, so I appreciate the support and upgrade rating to 4 stars. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival of this chair! I wanted a chair that didn’t look like the typical recliner, but I wanted comfort and ease of function as well. The chair was easy to put together, I screwed on the legs according to instructions, and then aligned the seat and back of chair pieces with the posts of the chair and slid them together. The fabric seems durable, although a little light colored, I hope it cleans up alright, especially on the foot rest. The chair is comfortable, but you might like to use a neck pillow, since it doesn’t have that typical big neck cushion that’s on most recliners. I didn’t find any problem with the push back mechanism, it was a little stiff the first several times, but is easier now. These recliners were a pleasant surprise. We bought two and they fit nicely in our family room with our new grey sofa and love seat. They seem well made. The fabric appears durable. I love this chair! Already assembled, I just had to put the back part and connect to bottom part, slide into place. Then screw the little foot on the ends. It’s so comfortable and a total mom oasis chair!

I am very happy with the chair, a few reviews said it was small, but I think it’s a great size (an overly tall person might not be able to rest their head) but it’s perfect for myself and husband (both under 6ft). The fabric and pattern are better than I expected and it was super easy to assemble (I unpacked and assembled it alone at 38 weeks pregnant!)
