You get what you pay for. After one month, this thing doesn't work. It's not that the battery is dead — it still runs. But every piece of this has the potential to completely snap the thread. Now every time I start it up, something inside cuts the thread. I've adjusted the tension a million times and it doesn't help. It'll probably end up in the trash any day now. My suggestion: if you're getting this as a gift for a kid — spend a little more money and get a legitimate sewing machine. It will work the same way but probably won't ruin so many projects.
