I actually got these the first time like 8 years ago when I decided I wanted to gauge my ears. And they worked great, I got my ears to 00 with them. I don't have precision tools to check but I assume the sizes are accurate. But they worked was what was important. Recently purchased again because I lost the pieces in a move and somehow I got an injury on one of my ears and had to go without the plug in for like a week and a half, and I lost two sizes and was back down to a 0 (I recently bought a kit to go above 00.) knew this was a reliable, cheap kit, so didn't mind getting it again. The tapers are metal, so they have a good heft to them, but they stay in realitively well. (I do remember losing one back when I was first sizing up. But I had been rough housing that day, so I probably knocked it loose.) So yeah. It's a good set for a decent price that will take you from 18 to 00. Highly recommend.

I had to buy this set in a pinch my cat knocked my plugs down the drain and I absolutely like these more then the last set I bought and I almost didn't buy cause of the gauge jumps but when I got mine I have every size and I would encourage anyone who buys if you have gauges missing I would def ask for a replacement they are comfortable and easy to put in and def don't irritate at all!

I’ve always wanted to stretch my lobes, so I decided to finally go for it — and this kit made the whole process way easier than I expected 😍. Everything came organized, easy to understand, and simple to use, which was really helpful because I was nervous about starting. The tapers and plugs felt smooth and good quality, not cheap or uncomfortable like some kits I’ve seen before. I also liked having multiple sizes included so I could take my time and stretch gradually instead of rushing the process. My ears definitely appreciated that 😂✨. this is a great kit for beginning your stretching journey (i know tapers aren't recommended). i ordered glass plugs from a different company and they were all the same mm sizing as the glass plugs but the tunnels for 4g which is 5mm on the package was smaller than my 5mm glass plug so that was frustrating but besides that i've no problems. my ears are sensitive to metals and i've had no issues with these. good price i would recommend.

I stretched my ears to a 6 several years before but struggled because I was using acrylic tapers (a big no -no and one of many mistakes I made the first time) I didnt know any better and couldn't afford steel at the time. I let my ears heal for 3 years only wear normal sized 18 the past year or so. I did my research and talked to a piercer who pointed me in the right direction to not make the same mistakes. I looked around for a taper set and found these. Good reviews, surgical steel, well within the price range I set for myself. I have sensitive ears and I have had no issues so far. They are all good weights not too heavy or too light. Only 2 minor things that would put these over the top for me. I wish it included an extra ring or 2 for each size. They are so easy to loose. And it would be nice to have. I wish it included a 1g. The 2g to 0g is just too big of a jump and so I will probably tape the 2s. I know its not a super common size and most people do just make that jump but it would be great to have that option. But because this set is so affordable (I had anticipated spending about 2x much) I'm not mad about it at all. I loved them so much I told my coworker who immediately handed me $20 and asked me to order him a set. I just put the 10s in and am excited that I will actually get to 00 this time. I also love that the tunnels have the notch in them for the ring. It makes things so much easier. Word of advice: go slow my friends. Wait as long as your ears need between stretches. For some its a 3 weeks for others its 3 months. Rushing it is NOT worth it.

As if right now, the kit seems very good for the price! I just got it today, and it actually arrived one day early. Everything was sectioned into little baggies and labeled. All the pieces are there. The only complaint I have, is the 14g is labeled as a 10g so there are two "10g" baggies. But since 14g is the smallest size in the kit, it wasn't that hard to figure out which 10g baggie was actually 14g. All the tapers and tunnels look nice, you aren't supposed to wear tapers as jewelry but I appreciate that each taper comes with 2 orings, because I can still use them as extras in case I lose an oring for one of the tunnels! I also LOVE that on the tunnels there is a little groove on the back for the oring to sit in, that should make not losing orings easier. In all this stretching kit seems awesome for someone on a budget, I won't be starting to use it until next week when the other stretching products I ordered come in. But if I have any issues once I start using them I will update my review! **** UPDATE **** Okay, my stretching oil came in today, and I decided to attempt my first stretch to 14g. The tapers worked great, I think I may have pushed a tiny bit too far too fast on my right ear because its slightly more sore than the left but not the kits fault! I was just a little too eager and will be careful with that during future stretches. For those about to also attempt their first stretch, it doesn't hurt that much if you go slow enough just a slight pinching maybe a little stinging. I do have to say, with the 14g tunnels it's kind of hard to get the orings on after inserting them because theyre so small. I imagine it will get easier with bigger sizes, and would happen with any single flared kit. It just took me about 10 minutes to actually get both orings on after inserting the tunnels. So far the tunnels are very comfortable, my lobes are still a little sore and swelled a little bit which is to be expected, but the waerable area on the tunnels are plenty long enough to accomidate the swelling in my case. If anything changes after I get to bigger sizes I'll make another update!

Totally happy with this kit! F138 is non-porus and the single flared plugs are great for stretching. Plus, aren't they pretty? :) I made some dumb mistakes along the way and hope you can learn from them! I started with a regular 18G mall piercing done at 13. I bought this set and stretched to the final 10MM (00G). While stretching, after having 6MM (2G) in for 6 weeks, I decided to push my luck and see if I could skip 8 MM (0G) and go straight to 10MM (00G). After putting in the first 10MM taper, I felt a sharp pain and began bleeding (which should never happen when stretching). I immediately treated it with a sea salt soak and healed quickly. Lesson learned! Over two years later I made it to 12MM (1/2") stretching with glass. I didn't plan on stretching larger for a while. Two months at 12MM, thinking I was healed, I bought acrylic plugs that I thought looked neat. Surprise! I ended up with an infection. My lobes we're swollen, in pain, and had discharge. I had to get an antibiotic from my doctor and leave all jewelry out for a while. Within a week of wearing no jewelry in my ear, I kid you not, the holes shrunk back to 10G. I was bummed because it took so long to stretch to 12MM, but also thankful that my ears were able to heal. I hear 6-8MM is the point of no return, but everyone is different! I credit my long stretching process. After a year I decided to stretch again. I had to buy another stretching set because I lost most of the first. I'm back at 10MM and moving to 11MM (7/16") in a few weeks. I'm doing just fine now! My stretching process was to wait the appropriate time, take out my old plugs, get in a hot shower (it helps!), Clean and and massage my ears, get out and insert the taper using jojoba oil, then immidiately insert the plug. My daily care routine consisted of washing my plugs and ears daily as well as jojoba massages. Some don't sleep with their plugs in after a certain poimty but I had to. I heal very fast. Can I give you some unsolicited advice? When you switch sizes, try to put your tapers and plugs back into appropriate baggie. I lost most of mine because I didn't do this. It'll save you from buying another set. PLEASE don't rush your stretching, skip sizes, or wear your tapers as jewelry! There are tons of guides and tips out there! I got lucky with my stupid mistakes and didn't cause bad damage to my ears. Be careful and happy stretching! :D
