Wow, what a nifty chalk marker. I liked the little clicks as it rolls and it does a super job of marking fabric. I've recently used it to hem men's dress pants that were a dark navy blue and the chalk marker is white. It did so good and was so easy compared to other chalk methods I have used. I was just very happy with it, and just nice, straight lines. I think it's a keeper.

This chalk marking tool is great. It feels more natural to use than a triangle. It’s my go to. There is a learning curve to using it without letting it wander off mark but once you get used to using it it’s a great tool. The big draw back for me is the construction. Very cheap plastic. Let’s be honest, a lot of things get dropped in the shop at some point. One drop with this chalk marker and the handle is cracked. I’ve already cracked mine in a few places and chalk like to leak out now. Note to manufacturer: UPGRADE THE MATERIALS TO POLYCARBONATE SO THUS US MUCH MORE DURABLE. If you buy this and can avoid dropping it on the floor while sitting at the cutting table you will find your self reaching for it often and it will become your go to.

This is a good way to mark graphics placement on fabric but I would suggest that you put a piece of tape over the end cap of it as soon as you get it out of the pack. I used it for like two days then on the third day I went to pick it up and the chalk fill cap fell off of it. Pink chalk all over a new black tee shirt is not an easy clean up. I put it back on and it fell off again. It is a neat little gadget so I just taped the cap on and rolled with it.

This works so much better than the other marking tools I've tried out. I was able to layout a grid for some hand quilting easily and even while manipulating the fabric to stitch I could still tell where the lines were. (IE, it doesn't rub off THAT easily). There was one line I drew out considering stitching and changed my mind, it left a line but I'm thinking it'll fade over time (the iron and a little wash didn't remove it so far). Still happy with the purchase and I'm sure I'll keep using this for my projects!
