The Mackie Thump212XT is well built, looks great, and lightweight. The midrange and highs aren’t bad but not as melodic as I’d prefer. The bass output at moderate levels was pretty decent but flattened out when turned up loud. The midrange and high’s increased in volume but the bass didn’t. I had my Mackie PROFX12v3 mixer connected and was able to use the bass EQ of one of the line channels to compensate for the flattened bass output but that caused the amplifier input signal to be overdriven. I gave it 4 stars because in spite of its shortcomings, it’s still an outstanding value. ... show more

No instructions manual .. looks like it was thrown some cosmetic damage on side in not sure that this was a new speaker .. looks used, it arrived in a broken damaged box i might have to return this

This speaker ROCKS!! I use it every weekend as a stage monitor. The built in battery is a game changer. No feedback, clear, clean sound, very light and easy to carry around. Can't recommend enough!! Just buy it!!
