Got it for my son’s birthday. It’s is perfect for kids- lightweight, durable, and easy to control. The simple remote and stable flight make it beginner-friendly. Short battery life, but quick charging keeps playtime fun. Great entry-level drone for young flyers!

The media could not be loaded. It’s Christmas morning and I can’t get the Mach 500 to hover. When I press takeoff, it immediately flys across the room and crashes. I have tried pressing the calibrate button. Using the trim, etc. I think it either has a physical problem or was not properly calibrated at the factory. I’m going to try a bit more to figure this out, but will probably be returning it shortly. I returned the defective drone and got another. The second one works properly. It does feel durable and is simple to fly. It really stinks having a gift be dead on arrival. Hopefully my case was an outlier, but I’d test and make sure this product works before gifting it.

This tiny indoor drone has provided hours of entertainment for my family. The quality of the build is quite impressive, especially considering how light-weight it feels in your hand. It has a surprising amount of sturdiness and has already survived numerous drops from significant heights without any damage. Because the propellers are well-protected, it is very safe for using indoors, provided you don't have anything breakable in the flight path. I was happy to find that it's much easier to use than other similar toys I have tried in the past. I typically struggle to fly things where I intend for them to go, but even I can navigate this one successfully. My partner, who is a much more experienced pilot, has had my toddler rolling in laughter by chasing us around the living room and performing various aerial tricks along the way. It responds quickly to the controls and hovers very steadily, which makes it a fantastic gift value for kids or even adults who are just starting out with the hobby. The only real drawback is that the battery life is quite short. Given everything required to make a device this small fly, you only get about 15 minutes of air time before your play session is over and it needs to head back to the charger. However, the joy it brings during those minutes makes it worth the wait. It is a zippy, durable little machine that turned our living room into a miniature flight zone.
