DON’T THINK YOU WONT GET A BAD MACHINE. The Mac I order showed up and looked great, except it was never tested. If it was the store owner would have noticed that the kernel was corrupted and it fails to boot. This shop owner should be banned from selling on Amazon. There are so many people saying the same thing thing I am, “Never Tested”. Your machine will come the same way, trust me. You might get lucky but I doubt it. I have been in search of a new laptop for several months now. Because I’m planning to go back to school this fall and my old one was definitely up for retirement. I’ve always wanted a MacBook but have honestly just never been able to afford a brand new one even with a payment plan. Back in February of this year I was scammed, very badly when trying to purchase a refurbished one like this. I lost $1,500 and had to go through hell with my bank to get half of my money back. Since then. I have been EXTREMELY hesitant and skeptical about purchasing another one. I went out on a whim since I am very close to starting school. First off. Shipping was less than a week (I live closer to where the product was shipped out from), when the MacBook came it was very VERY secured in its packaging. Now being that it’s refurbished I was fully content with there being scuffs and scrapes and things like that. BUT when I tell you this thing came to my house like I literally just went to the apple store and bought it brand new….I mean it. EVERYTHING is perfect, all the keys work, the advertised storage that I purchased was correct. Screen, keyboard and battery are perfect. I am so, so very thankful that this did not end up like the first time. I’m so happy and please with this purchase and I never write reviews but I felt the need to write one for this one considering how expensive these products normally are and how most of the time “refurbished” do not even come close to being in pristine condition like this. I hope this helps those that are looking for one, and eases your mind and gives you a better sense of security in your purchase. ... show more

The item was shipped on time and came in near perfect condition. The only visible blemish were a few scratches on the charger plug. I did notice that after setting up and installing my programs I updated the OS. Shortly after the laptop shut down and restarted. The event day the same thing happened twice while I was working. Since then I have had no issues with the laptop restarting and it works like new. Oh the power cycles were only around 300+. ... show more

I highly recommended buying from this seller. I purchased 2 refurbished/renewed MacBook Pro laptops. There are a couple of other reviews that showed damage to the Macbooks that they bought. However, the two that I got look and act as if they are brand new. I don't see any damage or marks on them, and every part is working. These laptops are made in 2019 (Macbook Pro, 16 inch, 2019), so essentially 3 years old, but look and act like they are brand new, and I expect them to be good for many years. The laptops were well wrapped and packaged during shipping and delivery which probably helped them from becoming damaged. I've bought refurbished Macbooks directly from Apple before because you can essentially get a like new Macbook for a big discount. These Macbooks are just as good as what you would get from buying directly from Apple. ... show more
