The frame shape is what caught my attention first. Square retro styling with a keyhole bridge — it's a classic look that doesn't try too hard. The Matte Gray Crystal colorway is understated, and the Green Mirror lenses look sharp without being flashy. That's exactly the aesthetic I was after. Fit: The large fit designation is accurate. These sit comfortably on my face without squeezing at the temples, and the nose bridge doesn't pinch. Lightweight enough that I forget I'm wearing them. Quality: The ZEROFORM frame material is flexible without feeling flimsy. Hinges feel solid. The overall build is what you'd expect from a brand that makes gear for water sports — it can take some use. Sun protection: This is where polarized lenses really earn their keep in Alaska. When the sun is low in the sky — which is most of the day for a good chunk of the year up here — the glare off the road, water, or snow can be brutal. The polarization cuts that effectively. UV400 rated as well. Look: The mirror lenses don't look obviously reflective from the front, which I prefer. Retro shape with modern lens tech is a combination that works. Value for money: Priced at about $89 as of April 2026. That's not cheap, but you're not paying Maui Jim or Ray-Ban prices either. For what you get — quality polarized mirror lenses, solid frame construction, and a shape that actually looks good — that math works out reasonably well. Okay, these are certainly from a very well-established brand, so that guarantees decent quality and good usability. However, $90 is a lot to pay for some sunglasses, and I don't know that these offer anything crazy if you're just looking for daily wear. I would strongly suggest that you consider other options that I think would look sleeker and be much better for the wallet, while offering the same sun protection. The best case I can consider these as viable is if you do any heavy duty work or a lot of sports, in which case the stronger, snap frame and obviously enhanced durability will be a lot more valuable. They're comfortable and look solid, but I have cheaper shades that I think look a lot better for general outdoor usage, so I'll probably stick to those. That being said, if you want a reliable brand and some very sturdy shades, these are a solid choice for sure. ... show more

My 18 year old son umpires for the local little league. He wanted some sunglasses that were durable and comfortable. He also doesn’t like any crazy styles or weird colors so when I saw the O'NEILL COASTLINE 2.0 Men's Square Retro Style Polarized Sunglasses I thought that they would work perfectly. The glasses come with a drawstring pouch that doubles as a lens wipe. The glasses fit my son perfectly and the lenses are large enough to protect his eyes from the sun. They are lightweight, comfortable and fit well under his ump mask. He has never had mirrored or polarized lenses before and said that they make a huge difference in how well he sees the ball. My son loves these glasses and how durable they are. They not only protect his eyes but they help him see the ball better due to the polarization. My son loves these glasses! ... show more

I like the look of these, a lot. I do struggle with finding attractive glasses for me, they always feel too wide, even though I do have a large head. Surprisingly, these are very good looking on me! The build quality seems relatively solid, I've already dropped them a few times, and they've held up nicely! They fit my head well, and I've worn them half the day without any discomfort. These are reflective lenses on clear frames. The frames are a bit rigid and tight around my face. They remind me on the 90's frogskins but less expensive. I am still unsure how I feel about them because I like them but the don't fit as well as I would like and I think they would eventually cause painful areas or a headache. These sunglasses are sturdy, polarized, and good value. They are pretty gender neutral. Anyone could wear them. They look pretty cool with the purple/orange lenses and clear frame. I own more expensive sunglasses than these, but these are every bit as good. I love to buy O'Neill for water sports. If I lose them, it isn't as sad. I still don't like to lose anything, but at this price point it isn't that drastic or hard to replace. Also, I don't feel like I am compromising quality and protection. These feel and look like great quality glasses, so I'm going to assume that they are. The colorway is unique, I found myself enjoying when I wore them, since it made LCD screens look a bit wavy and rainbow like. However, when you wear them outside, the tint feels no different than if you had on black or very dark tints. Unfortunately, you can see the wearer's face/eyes through these which I was hoping wasn't the case, but that's not a deal breaker right? I am extremely impressed with these O'NEILL Coastline 2.0 frames. The Matte Gray Crystal has a really cool, retro vibe with the keyhole bridge, but the lens technology is where they truly shine. The Green Mirror Hydrofreak polarized lenses are crystal clear and the anti-reflective coating makes a huge difference in high-glare situations. They are incredibly lightweight and flexible thanks to the ZEROFORM material, so I can wear them all day without any discomfort or pressure points.
