Bought one, liked it. Bought another. price is great. The story: Purchased a S & D 15 inch 2015 MacBook Pro from Amazon's obnoxious teen-age son, WOOT. They sent a 45W charger with the MacBook. Those bigger Retina MacBooks need AT LEAST an 85Watt charger. Using a low power charger can cause damage to your laptop as well burn up the charger. I really mean burn up, as in "smoke" and the accompaniments to said "smoke." So if your charger is super hot--check the wattage. WOOT was great (as Always) and refunded me enough $ to buy an Apple 85watt charger which I did. While I was looking at chargers, I saw these for 1/3 of the price of the Apple charger. I figured, "why not?", took a flyer and bought one of these as a spare. It worked perfectly so I bought another one to stash around the house while using the other for travel. Listen if you purchase this charger make sure it’s a temporary one. This poor excuse of a charger burnt my charging port to my laptop and it’s burnt itself out and has a MAJOR short in it. I have to fix it a certain way to charge my PC on top of it, it overheats fast and then eventually turns off and stops charging my PC. Have this as a back up or literally a temp. I really want my money back because I have to get my laptop fixed due to this corny comments product. ... show more

This 85W Mac Book Pro charger is exactly as sturdy and fast charging as the original from Apple. It has nearly the same features such as the size of the charger, full charge indicator light, non-tangle cord, and flip-up cord hooks for easy transport. The biggest difference between the two is cord length. While the original has a 2 meter (approx 6 foot) charging cord AND a power cord, this model's power adapter plugs directly into the wall. So you might have to sit closer to than your favorite spot when charging during active use. Still, the price for me was well worth it at about 40% less than replacing it through Apple or Best Buy. I would recommend this product 100% and would definitely buy it again. ... show more
