Waited awhile to write a review to make sure that the product works and was worth the time/money. I'd say it absolutely was, and have recommended it to a friend in need of one as well. Compatible with my MacBook Pro Retina 16-inch (2019), and gives a full charge in a decent amount of time. Feels hefty. Cable is a bit short, but that isn't a problem for me personally.

I mainly use this charger for my Samsung Tab S7. I paired it with a 10ft USB C cable as I often use the tablet on a stand for guitar music. I previously used an older Samsung charged with a USB A to USB C 10ft cable. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it charges. Previously, if I had the tablet on the stand and was actively using it for sheet music viewing and video, it barely could keep up without the battery draining. Even when not in use it sometimes would give me a slow-charging warning. With this new USB C charger, those days are gone. This Anker USB C charger works perfectly. I have purchased a number of chargers over the past years due to adding devices and inadvertently leaving equipment in hotel rooms, etc. This charger is the best one in my recollection. I will be purchasing more of these Anker chargers and highly recommend them.

So, I’ve been using this Anker charger and it’s mostly fantastic. It charges super fast, which is a big deal because who has time to wait around for their devices to charge, right? Plus, it feels solid and well-made, and it’s really compact, which makes it great for tossing in your bag when you’re on the move. The price is pretty reasonable too, given how well it performs. You definitely feel like you’re getting your money’s worth with this one. But, there are a couple of things you might want to consider. First off, it can only handle one device at a time, which isn’t ideal if you’re looking to power up your phone and tablet together. Also, the cord it comes with is just 5 feet long, which can be a bit restrictive if you’re not right next to an outlet. Another heads-up: it doesn’t work with every USB-C to USB-C cord out there. You’ll need to make sure any replacement or extra cords you buy meet the charger’s specs. So, keep that in mind to avoid any compatibility issues. Overall, though, if the one-device limit and the cord length aren’t deal breakers for you, and you make sure to use the right cords, this charger is still a strong contender. Definitely worth considering if fast charging and portability are priorities for you!

Update: in response to this review Anker sent me a replacement charger. New one works great. I really appreciate the great customer service. Old review: I find Anker makes great stuff so very sorry to write this. But the charger does not reliably deliver 100w. My laptop will only charge on USB-C if the charger can deliver 100w. This charger actually worked at first, but stopped delivering enough power for the laptop after a couple weeks. It still rapid charges phones fine, and probably would be fine if your device does not really need 100w. But if you only need 65w, this charger is unnecessarily chunky. My other 100w chargers still work fine on the laptop, tried side by side same socket, same cord and the other chargers (hyperx) work, while this does not.

This charger is smaller and more durable than the original apple one. Its charges my lap top faster and my cellphone faster than the original. The wire is thick and durable and comes with a wire tie so you can keep it clean and organized. The charger head is heavy and compact so it fits nicely in my bag and travel case
