Please read this if you have dry skin! While visiting Japan, I went to a Korean skincare salon in Asakusa. This (ma:nyo pure cleansing oil) was what was offered as one of the products to cleanse my skin with prior to the facial I had done. After using it, my skin felt far more hydrated and not oily whatsoever. I don't wear makeup so I can't attest to its makeup removability, but my skin felt very clean and refreshed. When I returned home, I bought it immediately and have been using it ever since. Since this is an oil-based cleanser, you must emulsify it. Start by applying the oil cleanser to a dry face. Gently massage your face with the oil, ensuring you get in the creases at the sides of your nose and your hairline. It is smooth and glides well on the skin. Then, wet your hands and continue massaging gently. You will notice that the oil cleanser turns from a clear, golden color into a milky liquid. Continue adding water as needed. Then, wash it off your face completely. Take your time! It is a good practice to double cleanse with a non-oil based cleanser afterward. This also ensures that no oil is left behind. (Please note it has an herbal, spa-like scent). If you have dry skin like me, I highly recommend this product!

This Manyo Cleansing Oil effectively removes impurities using Argan kernel oil and 14 plant-derived oils. I have been using this cleansing oil for the past week after ordering it a week ago. I can confidently say that I genuinely enjoy it. Its simplicity is noteworthy; simply apply a couple pumps into your palm and massage the oil onto your dry face in a circular motion for approximately one minute. Subsequently, lightly add water to your hand and massage it over your face for another minute. Finally, rinse off. The result is exceptionally soft and clean skin, effectively removing all makeup, including eye makeup. Having been using a different brand of makeup cleanser for several years, I felt compelled to make a change. I am delighted with the decision I made.

Absolutely LOVE this face cleansing oil! This will be my third bottle ordered. It removes makeup so effortlessly you do not have to scrub it off it just melts off, including mascara, and it does not burn or irritate your eyes! I do have more dry skin, and it has really helped hydrate my skin without stripping it down just to try and get my makeup off. I double cleanse still with my facewash after using this oil and there is barely any residue left for my facewash to get rid of. The best way to use it is on a dry face and do not wet your hands before applying. You will not regret it!

I had high hopes for this cleansing oil, and while it does a decent job of breaking down makeup and sunscreen, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The texture is nice and lightweight, and it rinses off fairly well without leaving a heavy residue. However, I found that it didn’t completely remove all my makeup, especially waterproof mascara, and I still needed a second cleanse. It also left my skin feeling slightly greasy afterward, which isn’t ideal for my combination skin. It might work better for drier skin types, but for me, it was just okay. Not terrible, but not my favorite.
