  • Great Sprayer
Size: Basic Bundle
This is one of the best purchases that I have ever made. Bought this sprayer in April of 2018. It has had many bump and bruises (apparent from the picture) and finally is ready to be replaced. I have probably sprayed hundreds of gallons of weed killer with this sprayer. One charge will usually last 3 or more tanks. I I had a small issue with the first one I ordered and the company was absolutely great to work with. They have my business for ever. Thank you! ... show more

  • Nice but quality control problems.
Size: Basic Bundle
***Notice my update to this review below***** Received this sprayer yesterday. Have never purchased anything like this before using the cheap ones you pump and carry around. I have two properties that require spraying of something constantly during warmer months. All the reviews got me excited but I have to admit I am a little disappointed. Mostly quality issues. First, the Velcro battery strap was ripped at the left side negating the job the strap has to hold the battery in place. How does something like this ship? Next, upon water testing (everyone should put water in first and test all the nozzles etc.) the unit leaked at the base of the tank where the hose fits in for the nozzle. Investigated and discovered that there was no washer. No Wonder! Perhaps they have their kids putting these things together for shipment. I tried the various spray nozzles and noticed that the ones with more back pressure caused the black plastic wand to leak at the base where it is mounted to the trigger. I tightened this up with my hands and sprayed again and noticed that water was spraying out of the shaft of the black wand. It was streaming out but I could not make out any holes etc. Must be micro splits vertically at the end of the shaft. I switched to the metal wand and this did not happen. Not sure why I got a plastic and metal wand but at a minimum I'm glad for the metal wand. There was also a flexible white hose similar to ones used on a washing machine however I have yet to discover a use for it. Documentation is horrible. It shows components that did not come with my unit and nothing explaining their purpose. I discovered their use by hooking each one up noticing that some created a spray, others a larger spray and then some created a stream. Some spray with two nozzles etc. Lots of choices which is good but better documentation or perhaps a Youtube tutorial is in order. For as many as they have sold, they could have put a Youtube tutorial unboxing, putting together and explaining how all the nozzles work and what jobs they are made for. Would have been nice to see a video showing them dealing with the quality issues on mine.....however I bet they would not publish that. So, I tried to call their support line and got voice mail. I don't leave voice mails because if companies call back, it is always at the worst time. So, I'll try again later to see if I can get a new wand and a new velcro strap to hold the battery in place. All in all I think it is a good tank and pump system however they should offer a Li battery option as it would make it lighter. I'll update after talking to the manufacturer and getting the replacement hardware. ***Update*** After posting this review but before it went public I got a call from the owner who had seen that they missed a call. I went over my issues and we discussed all three of them. He admitted that he had problems with shipments where the battery moved around around if the box was tossed about during freight. He went on to explain that the strap over the battery was really not even needed now since he modified the door housing to make it stronger etc. I agreed with him on that. He agreed to send me a new black wand which we received yesterday. We also discussed more documentation of a video on how to open and put together and use the various nozzles. He was a really nice guy and I could tell he cared and wanted me to be happy. Never once did he mention not putting a negative review which I always appreciate. His main concern was making sure I was happy. We talked for 30 plus minutes about how this product had evolved based on feedback etc. We also talked about battery options and he explained that Li batteries would greatly increase the cost and the weight savings would only be about 2.5 lbs. The main weight in in the products you stick in the tank. ... show more

  • my 4 sons battery sprayer
Size: Basic Bundle
My 4 Sons M4 review. The instructions were rough to put it at best. but its a sprayer, you just screw stuff together. easy. I charged it for 12 hours before first use. While it was charging I noticed there was 4 ridges on the side which I assumed was the gallon marks, but just to double check I put in one gallon of water and marked it then repeated till I hit 4 gallons. That is not what those ridges are, I recommend marking it yourself or your mixes will not come out right. I added a picture. I ran 24 gallons through this sprayer the first weekend. Herbicides and pesticides. With some of the herbicides I used a blue dye, which made it easy to see on the lawn and down my back where the Sprayer leaked out of the top cap. The rubber seal was warped and had indentations in it. This was replaced by the seller. Also the wand was bent upon arrival, also was replaced by seller. Beyond the leaking and bent wand, the sprayer did fine. Pressure seemed pretty consistent. One thing I did not like is when mixing, I could feel something heaving sliding around in the bottom of the sprayer, I later found this to be the battery. I ended up fixing it in place with a little DIY. Last thing I would want is to have to fix wires that become un-soldered. The wand is adjustable and plenty long. standing upright (6ft) I can get the sprayer head just inches above the ground if needed. I would like it if the container had a wand holder the other sprayers have. . Ive noticed a few questions about whats inside the sprayer as far as battery goes. I decided to take the 6 screws out and have a peek. I do not recommend doing this as it will undoubtedly void any an all warranty. Luckily replacement parts are cheap. The battery is a 12v 8AH. the kind you would find in a kids razor scooter. It can be easily replaced and can be found online for 15 shipped. The pump is a generic brand 12v .48MPa 2.9L/min. It can be replaced for under 10 bucks. So if your buying this and worried about replacing parts after the 6 month warranty runs out, don't, its an easy product to fix. In fact there is plenty of room and space if you wanted to add an agitator to the tank. so you don't have to shake it up. There is little to go wrong on this sprayer, I would imagine that just as long as you run clean water through it when your done and store it properly it would last a while. And lets say the pump does go out, you can buy the same or if you like get one with a little more umph to swap it out with. This little pump has plenty of spraying power for grass and plants though. Gave it 3 stars because the product page claims this to be designed and manufactured by My 4 Sons and it is not. a search on the internet for "16L blue rechargeable sprayer" shows Its a cheap import. A flashlight reveals the original label under the MY 4 Sons label. Also factoring in the rubber seal and damaged wand. UPDATE: I have now ran around 80 gallons through this sprayer. When trying to mix I find it hard to try and stir this thing up. The new seal in the cap still continues to leak. to solve this problem I added a light weight 600 gph pump. That way, just fill it up with water, add your chemical, flip the switch, everything gets mixed nicely. new pics added UPDATE #2- 8/19/16 The wand has now started to leak out of the tip when in the off position. I am thinking the seals have gone bad inside the trigger. Luckily i kept the bent wand that originally came with it. Other than that, still working fine UPDATE #3- 2/16/17 Ran about 10-12 tanks through it to get my yard prepared for spring. Noticed pump is starting to fail. Has issues pressuring up. Unit lasted about 8 months. I will have to replace the pump, which won't be a major ordeal, but for the price I wish it would have lasted longer. In the time I had it, I replaced the wand because it came bent. Then replaced the wand again months later because the seals went out and the handle was leaking (used a different manufacturer the second time, cost $15). Replaced the seal around the cap because of leakage, now the pump is out. it worked good when it did work. but for longevity I give it a 2 star. Yes I cleaned out the tank and ran clean water after every use. I only used herbicides, pesticides, and mark it blue. ... show more
