This is absolutely amazing. The new M15i is just unbelievable quality by Questyle. It is so tiny you can take it anywhere, however the quality and sound, even on 250 ohm headphones is just unbelievable. Using 250ohm Beyer DT770's (which is an excellent closed back inexpensive headphone) to my $3500 Hifiman HE1000se open back monsters, this little guy drives em all and with such quality. Being able to use this with your mobile phone, tablet and pc is a huge bonus, however if you want to use this for just about everything in place of a desktop amp/dac you totally could do it, the sound is that good. This is my first time purchasing a DAC/headphone amp (dongle type as well), always heard about the hype in how they can improve your sound to your IEMs/headphones and frankly, they are not lying! I have a ATH-M50X and that headphone tends to be flat in sound/neutral across the frequency spectrum. I noticed when I tested the M15i with my laptop and phone, it definitely gave a little more life to the bass and treble, the mids were neutral. There was definitely an improvement in terms of clarity and soundstage in my opinion, but in the end, everyone's ears are different. Build quality has a good feel to it. Am I happy with the product so far? Yeah, you can say so. Price? I am not so sure, since I kinda got away with it due to a huge discount and Amazon rewards. An added bonus to this is that this DAC can help my music production while I am on the road. 4.5/5 ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I tested a number of dongle dacs (ifi Kensai and gold bar, audioquest dragonfly cobalt, and even portable daps that cost a lot more). I am using sennheiser hd650, Audeze 109 pro, AKG flagship IEMs, and even my Focal Utopia headphones. The Questlye M15i is amazing with all these. It is best in class and performs multiples over its price. Form factor is small and tidy and visually compelling. All the audiophile attributes I was looking for (plenty of power which is where most dongle dacs fail; imaging, dynamics, frequency extension, body, presence, etc).     • Susceptible to RF noise from an iPhone 15 and 14 Pro Max
Unless you have your phone in airplane mode, you’ll hear terrible noise picked up by this DAC. My other DACs don’t have this issue (Shanling UA5 and FiiO Q7). When you’re not hearing the noise, it’s quite nice sounding.

I bought this mainly to stream MQA & higher quality music on Tidal and drive my HD660S2 on the 4.4mm balanced output. I am thoroughly impressed by the power and sound quality of the M15, and highly recommend it! Something not many people seem to realize is this also puts out significantly more power when connected to a PC USB port compared to a phone or other mobile device with battery saving constraints.
