This reed diffuser is similar to any other diffuser. The sandlewood has very little fragrance at relatively close distance. (Less than 6' from the diffeser)

The sandalwood is too woodsy & strong of a smell for my sensitive nose. I put it out in the garage until we decide how to get rid of it.
