Spend countless days trying to decide what I wanted for my little girl. She road the strider balance bike for over 100 rides. As you can tell in the photo she needed something bigger. She's 5 yrs old almost 6 at 47 inches, and the electric 16" balance bike is the perfect size when dropping the seat all the way down. She's afraid of using the electric motor, but I'm sure she'll get there sooner or later. This bike is very heavy duty that an adult can even ride it and it'll still go roughly 12-15 mpr. I plan to modifying the seat and command post, upgrading the fork with a 20" front suspension fork, handle bar and stem. Cons -The brake lever really sucks. Even after adjustment the lever is really tight. -Rear disk brakes was slightly bent. Used a Cresent wrench to bend it to straighten it out. - Very pricey for what you're getting. I got this bike for my 4 year old son. Very easy to put together, However when we tried the bike for the first time the lights came on but the bike did not work. Had to send back to Amazon. Still waiting for my refund. Big waste of time and letdown to my son!

Like a few other people when I received the E 16 balance bike it would not turn on or do anything. I tried to return the bike but it was not eligible for return until you contacted the seller through amazon. I narrowed it down to the battery was bad . Massimo customer service sent me a reply back the next day and I told them I just needed a new battery and they said they would send one out. Two days later not only did they send me a battery but a new control box , 6 T shirts , a hat , keychain and some other stuff. I was vey surprised at how fast thy were and I was not expecting all the other stuff they sent. Its a nice bike and my son loves it. I would recommend getting this bike to anyone . ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These bikes arrived on time and were packaged exceptionally, Upon taking them out of the box and putting the front wheel and handle bars on the bikes were ready to use. We charged them fully (took about 4 hours) and put them to use quickly, These bikes quickly surprised us not only with they’re speed, But build quality and functionality. Both my children love them. I couldn’t find much on them prior to purchase, But am happy I did. The battery life is Fantastic, lasts for days, The bike is fast but is fully controllable by the throttle. My children have rode for hours on a single charge. Overall we are very happy and highly recommend the Massimo 16” E bike. These bikes ride anywhere a dirtbike can, And the neighbors won’t hate you! 10 stars Massimo really knocked it out of the park with these at this price. Look no further these are amazing bikes. This bike is almost perfect. Got this for my 8yo grand daughter and she loves it, although it's getting a little small for her. The first thing I did was change the seat and post to a more comfortable one. The front wheel came a little wobbly which makes it harder to steer. Luckily I was able to rectify this by tightening the inner nuts on the wheel which makes it much more stable. Also added a kick stand. My main complaint is that the disc brake does not override the throttle like most e-bikes do. My kid keeps twisting the throttle by mistake and the bike takes off on her, even with the brake on. Also, as another reviewer said, the brakes could be more stronger given the powerful motor on this bike. I also wished the handlebar height was adjustable. Was gonna add a riser stem, but the brake cable does not seem long enough. overall this is a lot of bike for the money and a ton of fun. Just have to be very careful with the throttle or turn power switch off when stopped to prevent bike from running away accidentally. ... show more

We've had this bike for 10 months now and it is just as awesome as the day we purchased. It is very sturdy and as advertised. Batter life is decent as well. If you're looking for an e bike for kids, this is perfect!

Purchased this bike for our 6yr old boy. Putting together is easy, however I noticed right away there is no speed select options as the listing suggests, only full speed. It can be regulated by the throttle but you have to be careful with someone just learning. First time my kid sat he turned full tilt and ended up on his back. Not a huge deal though. The bigger issue is it only randomly works. After assembling and charging I thought it was totally DOA as I got nothing at all. Then, after after playing with it a bit and pulling the break lever it suddenly began working. I thought maybe it requires the break lever be pulled to start. Rode it around for a while and took a break. Went t ouse it again (Bike still showing full charge) and nothing. This time I fiddled with it for 5 minutes. Then it suddenly began working. All E-Bikes have a sensor that kills the throttle as soon as you pull the break and I suspect ours is faulty brand new. Pretty disappointing. I have an email into the company so I will update the rating based on reply. ... show more
