In the manual it has a off button but the actual calculator does not. A little ridiculous and kind of funny but it will eat your batteries. Calculator will eventually shut off after about 10 minutes of being idle.

A great unit. Funny how it uses European punctuation, meaning it shows 129.77 as 129,77 Europeans use commas where we use periods in numbers. This unit does that. But no problem at all. It adds up my poker winnings very nicely. You can keep track of every annoying thing your spouse says to you. How many times the kids leave the lights on or don't replace the spent toilet paper.
