    • Perfect
Exactly what I was looking for. My son (he's 8) kept having a hard time with the original silicon cover coming off and he isn't able to get it to fit back on alone. This fixed that issue 100%. It is infinitely more secure than the original. It also is perforated so it's breathable and it doesn't cause you to sweat. It's also very comfortable, nice padding. I would recommend this product for all who purchase a quest. This should be your very next purchase after buying a quest. ... show more

    • so much better than stock facial interface
I love this product. I am new to VR and just got a Quest 2. I could not stand to wear it for more than 30 minutes. It hurt my face so much. It would dig into my cheeks right over the cheek bone. It was literally painful. The first thing I replaced was the strap and that got me half-way there. But this facial interface is amazing. I have a big head and a large face. The stock facial interface was not made for me. This is so much better and so far anybody in my family who has tried it likes it better. I know these accessories can get expensive, but the price of this is not too bad and well worth the added comfort especially if you pair it with an upgraded strap. ... show more

    • Comfortable if... no... now... just right... wait a minute... doh
So after considerably tweaking, I finally feel that I have managed to make this interface comfortable. If you have a larger nose, you may encounter some problems like I did. The thinnest padding puts my face too close to the lenses, which is great for FOV, but it seems to intensify the god ray affect. There is limited space for the nose on the Quest 2 and I find pressing up against and bumping the plastic nose guard quite annoying. The same can be said for the rubber nose piece that blocks light. I found it ticklish and annoying as well. The thicker pad has a similar problem, but I am at least able to tilt the headset up out of the way a little. I tried using the thin pad with the eyeglass spacers that came with the Q2, which seemed okayish, but it kind of hurt my head due to the lack of padding. Using the spacer on the thicker pad was the most comfortable, but at a loss of fov. It took some time to adjust the padding and it doesn't always stay in place. If you have the bottom part of the pad too low, it will tickle the sides of your nose. I did end up using the included side pads, but this limits the contact points of the velcro. It seems like I frequently need to fiddle with the pad placement. It is not uncommon for the interface to pop off, which I fear will eventually scratch my lenses. Not good. Is it more comfortable than the default pad? After considerable fiddling, yes. I don't think it is 33 dollars more comfortable though. If I could hop in my time machine, I don't think I would have bought this interface and gambled with VR Cover, even though it has expensive shipping. I would also buy a lot of stocks, land, and a plethora of website domains. ... show more

    • Suitable but not exactly what I wanted.
Looking for a replacement face cover for the Oculus Quest 2 I investigated a few options and polled other active users this one came highly recommended. The package came in an envelope packed in a staple sealed plastic container. The face guard fits the Quest 2 with some wiggling, the common complaint of this unit was 'light leak' due to thin plastic, I ordered a black unit to try and limit this. I can't speak to the other colors but noticed there was light leak in some areas which ended up being the unit not fitting snug. This allowed the built-in vents in the plastic to allow light in, granted very little, at the edges. Once fitted properly there was no light leaks again this may vary with the other colors but I doubt it. The overall quality of the plastic is good even if the fit is a little off. The guard itself is firm but flexible at the edge this gives the over all feel a softer seat meaning if you like your headset snug you may have to tighten down more than usual. The padding difference between the two included full size face covers is almost zero. So I can't tell which one is to be the 'comfort' pad or not. The wings do add some extra padding for us larger faced users however they may be useful for those with more narrow faces that notice a loose fit or light leak at the edges of their headsets. Please note that this face guard does not work with the eye glass extension so if you require that for use with your Quest this may not be a good replacement/extra device as it may not have the distance required for your eye wear. For the price it is not a bad extra face guard over the OEM part and it is a decent face guard overall. I wasn't unhappy with the product quality it just wasn't what I was looking for. ... show more

I was not planning in getting anything extra for my Quest 2 (lol) But after I started getting goggle marks after using for a while that took forever to go away, I started looking into more comfortable alternatives. I chose this one b/c of how comfy the foam face covers looked, that they came in 2 thickness sizes and the unique design of ventilation and exhaust holes in the bracket that claimed to not only allow gas generated in the VR eye cover to vent out, but that there is no light leaking in. It was very easy to put together and attach to headset. the foam part around the nose area can be easily adjusted to suit whomever is wearing the headset, so can the temple cushions. I really like this face cover and totally worth every penny. Purchase price $27.99, Delivered fast, boxed well and ok product packaging. (excuse the gloves, old & degraded ripped opening package) ... show more

    • Extremely good
TL;DR: Really good, a worthwhile purchase. (also look at the options! you can get a black or white version, you don't have to get the orange one.) This thing is downright wonderful, and I would say it is necessary if you plan on using the headset long term. The leather feels very nice, and the cushioning of the pads have a nice amount of give before you hit the firmer hook-and-loop back. The bracket is made of a flexible rubbery material, which I did not expect (I suppose that is the 'soft' part in the title. ) but it was a welcome surprise. The only difficulties I've had with this was installation, as the bracket's flexibility made it pop out a couple times, and I struggled to align the leather interface. Regardless, I highly recommend this. ... show more
