  • Great for the price
Color: White-Grey Size: 5*3 FT
I am going to preface this by saying that I half expected some umpalumpas or a small child to come in the box based on the gloves that the company sent to help protect me from the sharp aluminum. While I applaud the effort, those gloves will not fit much of anyone over the age of maybe 10 or the aforementioned umpalumpa. Given they are white cotton, they are also very unlikely to protect you from even the thought of getting cut by this product, but at least the thought is there. TL/DR Summary: You cannot beat this for the price. I saw one roughly the same size and the same material at Lowes™ today and it was $477. If you take decent care of this shed I expect it will last quite a while and if you are creative or good a Tetris™ you can fit a lot in it give the size. Note - this product is completely wrapped in saranwrap on top of being wrapped in plastic in the box. This is a maddening thing that a lot of manufacturers do. Sadly, I did not notice the nearly imperceptible saran wrap on the panels until I was assembling the roof because one small bubble had happened in said wrap. Therefore, the large majority of the shed is still wrapped because I am not going to even try to unwrap it. So, let's talk about assembly - it is rather straightforward and not very complicated IF you follow the directions. That means for those folks that throw the manual aside and go forth because "we know how to do this." I highly recommend you do not. I, even following the instructions, made one small, but easily corrected, mistake. Here is the only place I deviated from the instructions - The backpanel order. Call it whatever you want, but I did not like the way the back panel layout made my OCD brain hurt, so I swapped panel locations and it was fine. Can you assemble it alone? Assuming you didn't get the umpalumpas in your box then, yes you CAN. Here is where I would recommend that you have a person that can help from time to time because you will get to the point where you are putting those handy dandy wall panel nuts and bolts in..... you won't be able to do both sides at the same time unless you're gumby™, stretch armstrong™, or Mrs. Incredible™. Also, if you are less than about 6' 2" you probably want at least a step stool for the front of the shed unless you put it on the ground without any amount of lift to it. You noitce mine is on two pallets that I joined with some plywood and screws, that made it a bit out of reach to the middle of the roof for my 5' 10". If you are building it on a stationary pad I hope that you have room on all sides to fit because you have to secure the base before you can assemble the rest. If you don't leave a lot of space, then I hope you do have a gumby available as it will be interesting. If you are assembling it similar to how I did, just make your level spot and make it a little extra deep and wide so you can move the thing into place after your done. I was not looking for a giant storage shed for all manner of things. I have just what I need for common yard work and nothing else. I used a rubbermaid fasttrack™ along the back wall and I would not recommend that particular track system in this shed. The problem is that the clip part has to go too far back and the wall makes it hard to do that. If you use that system, you will need some standoffs. The good news is that your shed probably came with about 2x as much hardware as necessary to put it together, so you should have extra for your rail. I used the self tappers as I do not plan to hang super heavy items. I would suggest ultrawall garage rack or ncle garage rack as alternative choices that look like they will work better. Fun tidbits - * Those little L shaped things that look sturdy ... they're anything but, so do not get spooked by a yellow jacket and try and swipe at it with that because you will bend your roof edge flashing. I put the bent one in the back after bending it back to mostly in shape. It works fine. * This shed is not sealed, like really not. If you wanted to use 8-15 cans of spray foam to try and seal it I suppose you could, but just understand that and plan accordingly for wasps, spiders, etc. in the long-term or make sure you are treating the shed regularly with insecticide or whatever else to keep them away. * Did I mention this shed is not large? Yes? Ok, let me tell you that I can get my Ryobi One+™ 18V lawnmower, Ryobi One+™ Trimmer/Edger, and Ryobi One+™ Pole saw in there. Along with that I have room for about 5 - 7 other tools. Eventually those tools will be a pointed shovel, flat shovel, a bow rake, a tamper, a hula how, a regular hoe, and a pushbroom/dust pan. It's possible I could also re-organize a little and get a Ryobi One+™ pressure washer in. If I were to put a small shelf to the left of the door on the front wall panel I could probably fit some common garden hand tools as well, but I know me and I would probably hit my head on it when I went to get the Lawnmower. My wife also has a larger gardening shed on the other side of the yard. ... show more

  • Sturdy Overall
Color: White-Yellow Size: 5*3 FT
Pros: •Has survived 2 several thunderstorms within the two weeks it's been up •Physically was pretty easy to put up •Comes with gloves in case you don't have any! •Instructions are mostly pictures and weren't too terrible to follow •Very accurate to the seller's pictures Cons: • There's plastic on every panel/piece of the shed •Actual dimensions are slightly smaller than the 3x5 •The instructions don't detail in wording the assembly process •There is no bottom for the shed •The door latch gets caught on the side of the shed •Door doesn't fully seal The estimated construction time is over 12 hours and I think that's mainly due to how long it takes to peel the plastic off. This took a full day for my husband and I tp setup and we both have some background in building, but nothing extensive. I got this back in May and we didn't get it setup until recently which means I didn't open the box until we went to set it up. I did not realize how much plastic was on the shed pieces or how long it would take to peel each of the plastic off the pieces. It's almost similar to shrink wrap and can be very time consuming to peel off. Personally, I would've peeled the plastic off the day before setting up the shed because it can get frustrating fast. That part took 2 of us most of the morning to get done. After that, assembly was pretty fast. As others have mentioned, it does get more sturdy the more you put it together. I was pleasantly surprised by this. It took us roughly 5 hours to get it set up (not including the dang peeling). I do wish the measurements were more accurate as it's a few inches short from being 3'x5'. If you're going off of these measurements alone for planning and storage...don't. I'm converting this into a chicken coop and made that mistake. While the setup is pretty straight forward, it's mainly pictures or a couple of pictures with a check to indicate that's the correct setup or an x to indicate the incorrect way which was fine for us until we got to the roof. It took some trial and error to figure it out but we got it eventually! The door does have a bit of a gap in it that will let water in during a rain storm but probably has an easy fix to it that I haven't done yet. If you're wanting a complete shed kit, this one does not have flooring/floor frame so keep that in mind if you're looking at elevating or not putting it on a concrete slap or something. Overall, I would buy this shed again as it is very sturdy for the price. There were some dent and dings, but nothing that interfered with building or sturdiness. Main reason for 4 starts being that the actual dimensions are smaller than the advertised 3'x5'. ... show more
