i was reluctant to buy another duvet cover from Amazon because the last one i bought, that was also more expensive than this duvet set, turned out to be a potato sack. So, when I received this duvet set I was pleasantly shocked that it was not only soft, it was easy to get on - it comes with ties inside to secure to the duvet. The color was exactly as it is in the picture. I'm not thrilled with the pattern but the color is nice, and more importantly, the quality is nice (and so is the price). This duvet cover is really beautiful. I got it for when my granddaughter visits to make her fall into a nice space when she tucks in at night. It is not permanent press. After 2 washings, it will look better if it's ironed. It has spots to tie a comforter in and buttons up on the bottom nicely. It is all cotton, which is what I was looking for and definitely "girly" on the flowered side. Nicely made as well. ... show more

Cool, crisp percale-like feel, which is how I like it -- not too soft. -1* just because I hate buttons in duvet covers, zippers are so much better. Hopefully the buttons and buttonholes hold up, unlike most of my previous duvet covers.
