For the serious reloader, Lyman now offers the brass Smith precision Funnel set. The brass Smith precision Funnel set is made to be completely static free, no more powder clinging to surfaces which can happen with lightweight plastic Funnel. The solid construction and quality of the brass Smith precision Funnel set will be apparent in its first use. This is no "one size fits all" Funnel, the brass Smith precision Funnel set uses precision machined, caliber specific inserts to properly fit the case neck. The inserts can be quickly and easily installed by simply pushing them into place and then pulling them out when changing calibers. The brass Smith precision Funnel set also comes with a padded storage case that neatly stores extra inserts when not in use. The Funnel comes with inserts for 22, 243/6mm, 25/6.5mm, 270/7mm, 30 and 338 caliber rifle cartridges

This funnel is nice and heavy, but requires a load block that fits pretty tight so the case doesn't fall over. I ended up buying one of those billet aluminum blocks off ebay because my load block wasn't tight enough.

Lyman precision funnel kit worked perfectly. No powder suck to the side. The inserts worked perfectly around shell casings. Would highly recommend.

excellent product well made. I have owned some that were a soft metal and dented and even a small indentation in the wrong place can cause a measurement issue. Love this product

    • Static problems will disappear.
These will assure that you have the right size for whatever caliber you are loading. Being metal, they dissipate any static build-up in the powder charge, ending the aggravation of grains "sticking" to the sides of the funnel, a problem with the plastic funnels I have.

    • Funnel is heavy at the Handle
Nice set But funnel is heavy at the Handle which in some cases if your reloading tray is shallow it will fall out or lean badly to the handle side . With the teared Lyman reloading trays it works fine because the tray is deep . I may cut Handle off so I can use in any tray . I never had a handle on my funnel and I don't think it’s necessary. PS - I cut off handle filed and shaped . Looks good , works even better ! ... show more
