These are good quality bass strings. The pack has 4 strings with a thickness is 44-100. These would considered light or maybe even light/medium gauge bass strings. They are pretty bright and very responsive. They're pretty easy on the fingers. They would definitely be good for someone just starting out. The tone is pretty bright. I set them up on a Fender Mustang bass and they sound great. The nickel outer coating should help prevent rust and extend the life of the string. These are an ok value for $24. Their are a lot of brands that are all about the same price. The Ernie Ball equivalent strings would be the Hybrid Slinky that you can find for $22. The Lykos are a little easier on your fingers. They're probably worth the extra $2 to get the Lykos.

I am not a professional player at all. As a matter of fact, I am not a great player at all. I get by. Where I excel is patience in restringing my guitars. I hate doing it, and could probably be more attentive to the task. But these strings aren’t bad. Do they last as long as some of the bigger brand strings. Not really, but according to my friends who are in bands, they change theirs a few times a month so the strings never really get worn enough to sound old. I’d say that sound is subjective to the person and for the price give them a try to see if you can save some money versus name brand

I put these on a Geddy Lee Fender Jazz and they brightened it up a bit. The quality of the strings seem good. I tuned them up a few notes high, let them sit a few hours and they were a little off, so I brought them back down to tuned and they have stayed in tune for a couple of days. Very easy to play without soreness in your fingers at all. For the price, I would recommend these strings for a beginner or mid level player. Good value and good quality.

Very nice strings and well packaged, and they were a simple replacement for our son's Yamaha bass with very worn strings. Full disclosure that I am not a bass player but do have experience with other instruments. From observing they sound great, and comparable to what he has previously been playing, and he likes the feel of them and played without hesitation or any issue from changing to a new set. Length is appropriate and generous, and priced at a good value.

These are quality, round wound strings that feel nice. I like the balanced tone. They seem to be mid-priced, so they’re a decent value. I think they’ll stand the test of time.

Decent bass strings. They have pretty decent feel. They are not the smoothest but definitely not the roughest. They have a pretty bright tone that will mellow out with age. I haven’t noticed the sound quality fall Off much since I’ve had them on so they should have decent durability. The packaging was. It impressive they just had all the strings piled into one plastic sleeve inside the cardboard sleeve. The value for the money is somewhat bellow average considering the packaging and lack of windings. Overall the strings are decent but they need to work on their packaging and lower their price a little to be competitive.

These strings are pretty standard but perform really well once installed. They are easy to put on with no fraying or issues during setup, and they feel great to strum right away.
