I got these because my friends had some and I figured they’d be a great addition to my room. The length alone was able to cover my entire room, though I have a smaller room, we did wrap it around my smaller room twice. They are very bright, so bright that I often don’t have to use my own light, I can just use these, and the app works pretty well. There have been a few cases where the app wouldn’t connect to my lights, and I’d have to unplug and replug them in and that usually fixed the problem. I also love the timer feature, I wake up very early in the day where the light from the sun definitely will not be waking me up, so I use these too instead and it’s been wonderful. ... show more

The Good: The tape is great as it sticks to the wall really well and so far no issues with it! Remote is simple to use with a fade/flash and music mode! (wouldn’t recommend if you have seizures with flashing lights) The Bad: Seriously it ain’t that bad but it’s worth mentioning that the brightness is not that great I have another LED light set in my gaming room and those are pretty bright think around as bright as a regular light bulb. Haven’t tried the app yet. I will plan to and edit this into the review. Take note, after installation there will be a big mess, have scissors on the ready as the tape has a cover for it (which is great) but doesn’t easily rip. First- for anyone who says this isn’t bright enough, I just figured out the trick to make it brighter. When you first test it out, on the bottom right of the remote, you’ll see different brightness settings. Even when I clicked the brightest one, it was still meh on brightness. But, the “V+” button (located on the top left of the remote) will brighten it a lot more. Just keep clicking the “V+” button until your LED color blinks white. That quick white blink means it’s as high as it can go. I think these are just factory set to be half way with the voltage when you first buy it (assuming voltage is what the “V” stands for). Ok, moving on. The adhesive on these is STRONG. I tried to correct some misalignment just 1 day after putting these up and it peeled off the wall paint in little chunks. So, if you ever want to take these down for whatever reason, use a blow dryer to warm up/soften the adhesive before pulling. While this is a lot of lights/length for the price (and it definitely did its job), the colors are really inconsistent (as seen in the photos). You can’t tell when it’s set to the most bold colors (blue, red, orange, dark purple, etc), but it’s obvious with the lighter colors- especially white. Which sucks. But after all the work I put into redecorating my sons room, I’m too tired to do anything about it now. So for now, they’ll stay. Tons of choices on the remote which is really cool, I haven’t tried the app yet. And there’s really an insane amount of length for the price. But if you don’t want to risk seeing half the strand be green when the rest is white, you might want to look elsewhere. Or be vigilant and pull all the strips out of the holders & make sure you test it ALL side by side in EVERY color before putting them up. ... show more

I ordered these because I wanted LED lights in my room and these worked great! I got the two-pack of 100 ft rolls and one ended up covering my room perfectly. The light brightness on its own is to my preference and I love the color selection. Now I have an extra roll to keep around!
