I was overall satisfied with this purchase. Took 2-1/2 hours to assemble. Parts fit well, but pictorial instructions were a bit unclear. Modular sort of design is convenient. Main reason for reducing rating by a star was styrofoam packing material, rather than recyclable or biodegradable material.

This vanity was time consuming to build, not because of the instructions or anything because I thought they were pretty clear, but the screws for the legs were a B and I had to bring out the ol drill. It is possible to get through it with the screw driver that it comes with but it wore my hands out. The good thing is that the biggest part of it already comes put together with the dawers already in it. You only have to put the side table together and put the legs on everything. I was super excited to order and receive this item. When it arrived - the box was ripped open on one corner. 1 - this vanity is a lot smaller than the pictures look. I am not sure if maybe my expectations were too high or what but I was so disappointed when I started pulling the pieces out. 2. The instructions are horrible! The items aren’t labeled clearly enough and because so many pieces look the same I had a hard time making out 2 pieces. It took about 2.5hrs to assemble. That’s a long time for such a small desk. 3 - Not sure if it broke in shipping or prior to but one of the drawers was broken and I had to hammer it back together. There were some scratches and scuffs. When I realized how small the item was, I immediately contacted the seller. They went back and forth with me on getting a refund. They are from overseas so I understand that returning it would be costly - however - as someone who wasn’t happy with the purchase, I wanted to send it back. They told me to keep it since it’s so expensive to ship back and they’d give me a refund. I got it for free, which was not my intent. But as a company, it’s their choice to sell to overseas customers and offering returns isn’t something they should do if they aren’t willing to pay to have the item shipped back. I will say it is a nice vanity! Would be great for someone who’s wanting something simple and non bulky. It’s just not what I was expecting. ... show more
