Scent: French Vanilla
This scent, French Vanilla, is wonderful. I can't stand flowery, perfumey, sugary or foody scents. This one is soft and it doesn't smell like something sweet is cooking. The scent has a good throw (the distance away from it), which doesn't gag me. It doesn't burn long, but the scent stays in the air about two hours after burning. The scent gets in the HVAC (AC/Heat) system and spreads throughout my house. I highly recommend this incense. Aroma Depot sells this incense in 11 and 19 inch lengths. I am going to try the 19 inch. Four star rating, because they don't burn long.

Smell is exactly as expected (Egyptian Sandalwood & Balsam and Cedar varieties) I bought more of both, I got 7, 11, and 19", all burn for the advertised times... I really like the 19" as they put out more smoke per minute, but they're also the most expensive so I tend to burn the most 11" as I feel like I get the most burn time per dollar. I burn these pretty much anytime I'm home and awake to light a new oner or two... I usually have a couple burning at a time in different parts of the house... people always say my house smells awesome... my house smells of Incense, Pipe Tobacco, and Vetiver. (I don't smoke tobacco, it's just essential oils / parfums)

Scent: Dragon Blood
I have burned dragon's blood resin over coals for years, though I prefer slightly cheaper and easier manner to get the scent into the air on a less fancy occasion, more daily kind of basis. Some of the mainstream brands are okay and vaguely dragon's blood esque incense but I kind of wanted to branch out and explore smaller businesses' offerings. This pack of the shortest sticks was the closest I could get to a lower commitment offering to try it out, wish there had been a variety pack since I could have at least found something in there I liked probably. Because yeah, the scent of this is like a couple of tiny granules of the real resin buried under a mountain of flowers. I would not describe this as dragon's blood, I would describe it as a floral. And I'm not exactly a flowery type of person. Floral is not even what I would have thought of to blend dragon's blood with, it probably would have gone smoother with something woodsy or earthy or herbal before this. I'm sure I'll finish this packet eventually but I won't be buying another one or trying more scents from this company unless they miraculously get a clue that nobody /reeeeeally/ wants to buy a hundred of a single scent that they've never smelled before and put out a variety pack sometime. Even Hem only sell in 10 and 20s, and as ashy and cheap as they can be sometimes, I will definitely go back to them over this.

you can get a whole box for the price of a handful/bundle of this incense with other brands but it wont compare to the quality of these, you can tell this incense is a much better quality, it burns better, takes longer to go out even though the sticks are smaller than the average sticks, i also love that they literally came damp with resin and had instructions on how to dry them, extremely authentic love love love, and the smell is just amazing will be buying again and probably in other scents

PROS: * Quantity. They come with a bunch of sticks as promised. Whether it is 85 or 100, I don't know. Haven't counted them. * Scent. They have a nice scent. They'll do for most folk. CONS: * Quality/ duration. These light up fast and burn hard. If you snuff out the flame in time for it to slow burn, you can expect about 10 minutes, maybe 15 minutes. Sad. * Scent. They don't smell as robust or as rich as the ones I get from my Asian supermarket. Use: I light incense when I am cooking. 35-45 minutes would have been an acceptable burn rate for each stick. But this figure is grossly over-estimated. I'll finish the bundle because I have them and don't want to waste them, but only because.
