I bought this rug for my middle school classroom. I wanted my classroom to have alternative "chill areas" and this rug totally fits the bill! It's soft, cozy and it has a little bit of padding on the back. It adds a new dimension to my classroom for my tactile kiddos. The kids absolutely LOVE it!!! They love to run their hands over it; petting while they "chill". I purchased a smaller rug, similar to this one from another dealer, and it wasn't near the quality as this rug. I wish I had just purchased a duplicate of this rug, rather than one from the alternative dealer. The rug comes vacuum sealed and fluffs right up within a few minutes after unpackaging. My own teenage daughter loved this rug so much that we ordered one for her bedroom.

It is a little thinner than I thought it would be but not in a way that makes it bad, it’s still got some padding to it! It is soft and the pattern is neat and accents the space very well. Surprisingly very very soft. I was very happy with the packaging. They fold it and vacuum seal it. I was expecting it to be rolled up, let it sit with something on the corners for a day to let it flatten. But no, I didn’t have to do any of that and was able to use it right away.
