I love this! It's a lovely light that looks nice, gives just the right amt of light, is dimmable, has auto shutoff timers for multiple durations. Installing it is easy if you can work a screwdriver and pound a nail hole to get a screw going. The provided screws are a joke so be aware you'll probably want to get something more substantial at the hardware store. You don't want the lamp to eventually fall on your head. 😉 This lamp is not motion activated which to me is a big plus. This lamp you turn on and off (or set it to turn itself off in an hour or two). If you're looking for this light to be bright?... it will NOT be bright. 300 lumens is only about 20 to 25W in an incandescent bulb, depending on the source you check. It is brighter than a nightlight, however. We installed it in a newly-created 30" x 40" area at the top of a basement stairway. It serves its function with just enough light so that we're not bumping around in the dark looking for door handles. The light comes with a remote, which we're not using since we're relying on the motion sensor to activate the light. The motion sensor works fine, with only a fraction of a second delay before the light turns on. I can't speak to its longevity, as we just installed it a few days ago My recommendation is to NOT use the wall anchors that came with the unit -- these do not have the small flange on the end and the wall anchors pushed through the sheetrock upon tightening the screws. Instead, I took two anchors from the assortment I bought here on Amazon a while back and used those. Worked perfectly. In any event, I would NOT use double stick tape as the three D-cells make the assembly too heavy for that, I estimate ... show more

Added to a shower that never had an overhead light put in. Don’t feel like cutting up tile to install one so gave this a try. Mounted it with gorilla double sided tape and works like a charm. I disables the motion as it would pick up walking next to the shower so I use with timer feature in remote.

I bought the two pack at the end of 2022. And up until a couple months ago they’ve been great, unfortunately the remote doesn’t work anymore. I can still press it to turn on but that limits the colors I can use, brightness, and it no longer changes colors since all those functions are only done with the remote. I wanted to try and get a remote replacement but for the life of me I can’t find seller contact information to ask them how I order a new remote. Light still works which is the most important part but I do wish I had all the other functions still. ... show more

I bought two of these after a couple of other LED light options didn't work well - one for my closet and one for our daughter's closet. Both work wonderfully. They were very easy to install. They are very bright and do a great job of illuminating everything we need them to. I'm also very impressed with the motion sensitivity on both of them; they both come on as soon as I open the door (my closet) or step into the closet (daughter's closet) and stay on for a decent length of time. Not sure how the D battery life will be yet. I've had them installed for about a month with daily use in both closets, and the batteries have held out so far, which is good. ... show more

Bought these a few years ago when we were having frequent power outages. Originally purchased them for general lighting in a regular power outage; in this scenario we thought we didn't like how any one remote turned on all the lights at once, but when we had an emergency situation cause a power outage we discovered how essential that feature is!
