Five stars for this gorgeous Star of Bethlehem Christmas tree topper. We bought the champagne-gold star (one of several varieties). The star has a remote giving you eight choices of how to display the star's lights, either with alternating or blinking light, or with solid light. For us, the blinking choices are too rapid, too frantic, and therefore not relaxing, so not our vibe. There are three different choices for relaxing solid light, each one prettier than the next. There is also a dimmer. The star came boxed with a little instruction booklet, and a pull-tab so that when not in use - especially during nine or ten months of storage in between Christmases, the tab prevents the battery from being drained. The remote and especially the tiny clear plastic tab are easy to lose, so take note of that. If you prefer not to use battery power and/or if the battery ever runs out, the star has an attached USB cord, so you can use electrical power. The USB plug can be inserted into a usb-to-ac adapter. Or if you have a power strip with USB ports, you can plug the usb plug directly into that port. This will be our first season with this star, so we can't vouch for its longevity because we simply don't know yet. But for this season, it's lovely and we're very happy with it. However, it's not cheap. We found it on Amazon during a "lowest price in 30 days" sale, so it was worth it. Not sure if we would've wanted to pay full retail for it otherwise. But as for the quality and appearance, it warrants five stars.

This tree topper is beautiful, but small. It doesn’t look proportional on top of my 7 ft tree. It will likely end up on my daughter’s 4 ft tree.

The media could not be loaded. The company reached out to me personally and were genuinely concerned with my experience and sincerely sought out to repair my confidence in their product. I originally took a star off because it was not the infinity star color scheme we ordered. Ordered the silver with warm to soft gold-like lights. This was silver with white lights. But because they reached out (which most do not), I believe they deserve a star for the customer service. I still standby taking one star off because up close, it looks cheaply made - it looks like the shape was created with wire and coated with something then glitter bombed. BUT from a distance looks elegant. Even tho it was the wrong color scheme, we think it works well with our tree. It looks like a shining bright star.

Updated review- The website description was inaccurate. This particular item does not come with a remote. I started a return and reviewed the product and gave only 2 stars. However the seller reached out to me and has went exceedingly above what I expected and made everything right. Buy it; it is beautiful but no remote and only one setting. However if you are not satisfied this seller provides excellent customer service. That means so much!

Missing a gem, some are falling off, some are crooked. It is pretty but not worth the price. The gems are plastic the pearls are clear rainbow ish beads, has a lot of glitter on it. You can see the glue and some of it is hanging off to the sides and not fully on the plastic gem. Looks like the glue didn’t have time to set properly. I wish it was better quality. I am returning the item.
