I just finished putting this together and I'm so happy with the result. The mantle comes in two boxes and I picked it up from a package room and it was very heavy. I was unable to lift it myself so I had to get help to move it. Once I took it out of the box the instructions were very clear and easy to assemble because all the holes are predrilled and parts well labeled. That being said, it did take 3-4 hours to actually finish the assembly just because there's so many parts that need assembly and each part is held together by multiple fasteners. Again, this is a double edge sword because it is a sturdy piece of furniture. For reference, the TV in the picture is a 55". In my opinion I think you should buy this piece, but have a few movies or audiobooks to keep you company while you settle in for an evening of assembly. ... show more

I really love the look and design of this fireplace TV stand. I was able to build it myself in about 3 hours (perhaps a little less, it’s hard to tell as I did take some breaks). The instructions were clear and concise and it’s very well made. My only complaint is the fake brick inside the fireplace could be a bit better. It’s very obviously fake and I really do think they could have done a little more to make it less obvious. Other than that, I think it’s a great purchase and I’m very happy. ... show more

This piece is somewhat pricey. There are other electric fireplace choices that look more authentic. I was disappointed in the appearance. The weight is great, easy to move. The assembly can be a nightmare. You cannot be distracted, it WILL require two people and at least 5-6 hours. Too much work was required for my taste. Exactly as shown in the photo. The brand is AmerLife. It does come in 2 boxes, the fireplace insert came 3 days before the wood pieces. It went together easily with 2 people. It is heavy so you really do need 2 people to assemble. The directions are clear & it took about 2 hours to get it completed. It is beautiful & my 65" tv fits perfectly. The media could not be loaded. This table is a beautiful addition to our apartment! The flames are gorgeous and can be on with or without heat. I'd suggest two people to assemble as the pieces are large and everything is easier with some help. It's going to really shine this winter.
