If you need an inexpensive area rug the LUXLOOM Runner Rug is a good option. It is very soft and feels great on bare feet. We have been walking on it every day now for about a week and it is still fluffy and hasn't matted down. I don't think it will last very long, but you do get what you pay for. I do not believe it is machine washable.

I wasn't sure exactly where I'd put this LUXLOOM Fluffy Runner Rugs when it arrived, and I had a few days to think about it since it smelled absolutely awful from the factory when I unboxed it. It took some time to air out, and my entire upstairs was filled with the scent. If you're sensitive at all, I wouldn't recommend this. After it aired out, it did end up smelling totally fine and I no longer have an issue. It's really shiny and VERY slippery (with bare feet, but even worse with socks) and I don't feel like it's safe to walk on. I almost slipped several times. I found a spot for it more as decor that gets no foot traffic, and I'm happy with how it looks! It's super lightweight and I have no idea how it'll wash. I'm curious if, when you wash it, some of that shininess will go away and it'll be easier to walk on. If you have a spot that you just need a rug for the visual, you're not going to walk on it, and you don't mind airing it out for a few days, this is a good choice! That said, it's a lot of caveats.

I have ordered a few of these fluffy rugs and we love them. This one worked perfectly as a runner next to our bed. They are so easy to clean and wash, the color does not fade and they do not come apart. Makes the floors a lot warmer in the winter time as well.

I needed to get an area rug to keep near my bed as my floor gets freezing in the winter. This worked great and has held up nicely. I was worried at first using a vacuum to clean it but there was no issues. Feels nice and better yet no more cold feet in the morning.

I have this rug next to my bed and it's great! It's soft, fluffy and feels great to the touch! The fluffiness is still there after having walked on it several times a day for weeks now. It is made in three layers for more comfort. It is not machine washable but should hold up with spot cleaning.
