So I was on the hunt for a radiator, did a complete cooling system refresh on my E36 328i, came across this radiator and was skeptical but ordered it. Installed smooth, you need to use your factory fan shroud, the piece of plastic the lower expansion tank hose sits in. And you need to use your factory expansion tank. Everything fits super snug, I filled it up will bmw coolant, no leaks everything is solid, all the aluminum welds are solid. The fan works amazing. Better than my last ghetto Efan setup, I connected the fan setup to the fog lights. When fog lights come on which I don’t any any lol, fan comes on, super surprised and happy for an Amazon radiator. Definitely recommend.

This product could be REALLY GOOD, but fell short in a couple key points. It's well built, and packaged really well. However the OEM radiator uses screws into standoffs on the plastic tank to mount the AC condenser, transmission cooler and electric fan. This radiator requires M6x1.0 bolts, which are not included but readily could be by the supplier to save customers figuring things out or ruining the aluminum by trying to use OEM hardware. Look for M6x10 fender bolts, which are threaded to the end with a taper and have a built-in washer. Next, as someone else noted, one mounting standoff on the passengers side front for the transmission cooler is just missing, yet other standoffs are located in locations not uses. Lastly, the mounting standoffs are not aligned well with OEM locations - the front side set were too narrow and the drivers side single standoff for the AC lines was 3/4" from where it should be and was unusable. If they'd just "tighten up" their templates/jigs for manufacturing, they could be spot-on but as-is it's lacking. Whether it's worth $600 to go with a premium (Griffin, Mishimoto, ARE) or save some money but have a few challenges is up to you.

Desgin could have been better. Radiator is little far back pinch over flow tube. As you can see it thicker than factory and kept cool. But if they space Radiator more foward it wouldn't pinch over flow. Bix came damage but no damage to Radiator. 2 years no problem or leaks.

Installed this in my daughter’s 2006 G35 coupe with 193,000 miles. I’d been chasing the cause of intermittent overheating, fluid loss, and boiling coolant in the overflow tank for a while. In the process I went through the air burping procedure several times, replaced the radiator cap, thermostat, and water pump (major PITA). After all of that and no fix, I thought possible head gasket, but fluid test for combustion gases was negative. Finally found out that the stock radiator was leaking at the seam where the plastic tank attaches to the aluminum core and it would only do so while under pressure, but the boiling overflow tank masked the leak. The price for this radiator was $100 more than the cheapest stock replacement, but I decided to go with all aluminum construction because I didn’t want the plastic tank like the stock ones. First impression is that this radiator is definitely thicker and heavier duty than stock. Removal was simple enough as there are several YouTube tutorials available. I had some difficulty in reinstalling due to the bottom tabs on the AC condenser not lining up exactly. Also difficulty in keeping the top pins of the radiator aligned with in the upper mounting holes while inserting the lower pins and rubber grommets into the lower mounting holes, but eventually got them in. The bolt holes that connect the top of the AC condenser to the radiator also did not align perfectly. Once installed, I refilled with Peak 50/50 green fluid for Asian cars and I went through the burping process. I definitely recommend getting the fill kit that has a large funnel that attaches to the radiator fill neck - that way you can see the bubbles coming out while you’re doing the burping process. Works perfect once you get past the struggles of installing. Overall I’m very pleased with it and don’t expect to have any more overheating issues. (Fingers crossed).

I liked the quality of the radiator everything fit just right except for the top reservoir Feed hose. As you can see in the photo pushes tight up against the radiator and reservoir and that leaving one screw out of the bracket so it doesn’t kink the line completely. In my other radiator the connection at the radiator was inset into the radiator so the hose wouldn’t touch the reservoir tank and kink the line, that is a flaw and the design, I would’ve given it a five if it would’ve been recessed back into the radiator so it wouldn’t kink the hose.
