I had to pay for this night stand so I'm not trying to please anyone except me in this review. I don't know how I stumbled onto this item but am glad I did. It's supposed to be all wood, and I think it is. Certainly, all the unstained interior parts are easily identifiable as wood, and the night stand itself is fairly heavy. There was no damage from shipping, and assembly was extremely easy. The only things missing were felt pads for the feet that the assembly instructions mentioned should be included. I am quite impressed with this nightstand. Assembly was incredibly easy to do, took me all of ten minutes. All of the wood is finished very well, with no blemishes, uneven sanding, etc. With such a minimalist piece of furniture, nailing these qualitative aspects is paramount so as to not disrupt the aesthetic. This really hits the mark, and I think it is a fantastic value when taking all of this into consideration. Of course, this is solid wood - no MDF anywhere. Overall, this is an exceptionally well-made piece of furniture that looks much more expensive than what it is. I am very happy with it and love how it looks in my bedroom. ... show more

I'm impressed with this heavyweight oak table. It was easy to put together with nice attention to details (a wooden latch to keep the drawer from pulling out all the way). The grain is beautiful. The color isn't yellowy oak but a more modern lighter brown oak color. The tapered wooden legs keep it in that MCM design realm but the boxy wooden top helps it fit into any design. The drawer has a creative design feature that I haven't seen before on furniture. The track is carved out and glides smoothly into another wooden piece attached to the inside of the boxy frame. No extra metal parts to deal with for the track. It's height makes it a perfect pairing with a platform bed or a smaller space. ... show more

Very sturdy. Pretty color. The drawer is pretty big and great for storage. The directions and prices are inside the drawer when you open the box, it took me a minute to figure that out. Assembly was fast and straight forward.

I wasn't expecting much from this nightstand, but I was very impressed by the build quality. It is complete solid wood (including the drawer which is rare) and the finish looks beautiful. The entire piece of furniture came in a small box that was easy to open, and the furniture was super easy to assemble. There are these little notches when you assemble the legs that make the oblique legs a breeze to put it all together with not trial and error. You will need a philips head screwdriver, but otherwise everything is provided. Highly recommend if you're looking for affordable solid wood furniture. ... show more
