Needed more light in our living room and this was a great option. However, the small shade arrived cracked. It is very thin and fragile. Rather than trying to box it all back up, because that would be impossible, I've tried to find a replacement shade with no luck. The replacement shares are all too heavy and pull the adjustable arm down. I would like to try to contact the company, but can't see where I can. Took me 1/2 an hour to break it free from the packing. What a mess, overpacked in foam and taped everywhere. Then putting it together was ridiculous. BTW...I'm great at assembling furniture, etc. Now that it's finally done...it really is a nice lamp for the price and truly appears to be vintage. Sturdy?...about as sturdy as it gets. LOL...be patient. It's worth it. ... show more

The posted photos shows the smaller shade is clear, but mine are both frosted. It gives out a good amount of light for a bedroom. Was super easy to put together. I was going to frost the one shade myself with Armor Etch but thankful I didn’t need to!

This lamp is very impressive, would not guess it had such a low price. Wish it had a "dim" option, but just put a low wattage bulb in the top section.
