Nice fabric,100% poly, flexible/tensile like rayon or tencel, which is nice and allows the 2 short pleats to lie flat; color as shown, a matte finish (not shiny). The style is what I was looking for - a little dressy, a little long, to wear with 2" heels to a graduation ceremony in the south. I'm 5'4 1/2" tall, weigh 139lbs. The size Medium is a bit snug at the waist, but not intolerable as it has wide elastic in back from side to side, and just the right amount of looseness everywhere else to look dressy & respectful. [Speaking of which, I will wear Spanx as a jiggly bottom would definitely show through the thin fabric (yuck), not see-thru though.] I don't tuck in my shirts anyway, so I can live with snugness, but it does have belt loops if you do tuck. I ordered a Large as backup, but it won't be here in time for our departure tomorrow. I'll update later.

The feel (light) and fit of these shorts were better than I thought they would be. The material is lighter than it really it looks. I washed them and was happy that they didn't wrinkle as other clothing. I will be ording another color.
