I did the application alone it wasn't that bad but had a lot of air bubbles. The great thing is you can take it off and reapply it. It is clingy and all you do is spray the window with water for the adhesion. I did get a darker one though. It's pretty cool and does deflect sun and the room is a tad darker. and stays cool. I would definitely buy it again.

Perfect for the bedroom for day sleepers. Installation, yet by giving more thickness could improve by thickening up the film itself and easier to trim back to size of window. No daylight showing through which this replaced our blinds. Privacy is great however and so far moderate quality would benefit from giving more thickness for Installation and use of utility knife.
