I got these to replace the neoprene knee sleeve I use when doing barbell squats. Those give me great support and prevent knee pain in one of my knees if I try to squat without it. These Lusia knee braces are stretchier and looser fitting and don’t cut off the circulation like the others. But that lack of support/tightness comes at a cost. While it’s good for air squats, basic kettlebell work and bike riding, it doesn’t provide enough compression to prevent the knee pain I get when barbell squatting. So, overall, if you want a knee brace that offers some support, but not a LOT of support, these are a good value, I think.

I was very careful to do the measuring as they suggested in their chart and I tried to measure a little higher up than they said, just to be sure it wasn’t too tight. (Which has happened to me before with knee supports.) I ended up with a measurement that put me squarely in the extra large size so I ordered it, even though I wear a medium in everything else. When it arrived I washed it in cold water and air dried. It fit perfectly, with no slipping and moderate support. It was very comfortable for all day wear, but I had to take it off for driving because it felt too tight where the elastic is when my knee bent. I would say that it was a little tighter on my thigh than it was on my actual knee, so I wish I had a little more support in the center of the brace. I had some swelling and some buckling of the knee, after tearing a meniscus, so this support brace really helped me feel more stable. After washing it a second time in cold water and air drying, it shrank a bit. I’m taking away a star for that, because they really should be pre-shunk or at least be able to be washed in cold water. I won’t be able to wear these again if they keep shrinking, and I have to wash them because it’s hot and humid where I live.

At less than $10, the LusiaDEW 2 Pack Knee Braces offer great value. However, the choice of branding is puzzling – "LusiaDEW" doesn't exactly sound appealing on the brace. Discreet branding would be more fitting for a product like this. Despite the branding, these braces are effective in aiding my knees during training. They provide quicker and more convenient relief compared to traditional knee/leg wraps. For the price and functionality, they're a solid option to consider.

These compression sleeves do what they claim. I use them for biking. The best thing about them is that they don’t slide down. I’ve used them both over and under biking shorts. They don’t slip either way. But after a couple of hours riding the anti slip area was uncomfortable if against skin. Over shorts was no problem. The only thing I don’t lime is the large Luisa Dew on the top. It is as if they belong to someone named Luisa Dew. Make sure you measure your leg correctly to get the right size.

I don't usually experience pain in my limbs and joints but sometimes I do. If I have been sitting too long or walking a long distance, then my knees begin to reveal their age and mileage. I ordered these sleeves in the Large size and they fit my leg, knee and thigh well. I know some people may also use them for arms and elbows, but for me the Large is too big for that purpose. They are easy to put on and remove and are comfortable for wearing while on a stationary bicycle or treadmill. I can't say that they eliminate my occasional pain but they do help alleviate it during and after activity that puts stress on my legs and knees.
