These are grey and black, thought it was lighter or almost white when I bought them. No biggy. But I put them up at night and by the material I highly doubt they block out the sun/darken the room like advertised. They are kinda silky material but not thin. I guess I’ll find out in the morning when the sun comes up how darkening they are and if they are going to work out. If they pass the sunlight test I’ll edit this. And it looks like if I keep them I’ll have to change out the shear white curtains in the middle to something else. ... show more

I had been looking for this exact pattern to replace the curtains in my bedroom for a few years but didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg. I was hesitant about the gray because I wanted white and black block stripes to go with with theme of my room but these turned out great. They do snag easily so be careful. They aren’t blackout curtains but they block out enough light for me as I sleep during the day because I work at night. They do have some weight to them as well. Although I typed Black and White Living room curtains.. that's not what I received. The "White" is actually a light gray/beige color. When I put the curtains up.. HOW MF BEAUTIFUL THEY ARE!!! Why did I want it to be white in the first place?! Lol, by time you keep opening and closing the curtains..that white.. would be no longer. The beige/Light Gray is Perfect. Love, love, love these! They really are “lush” I only bought 3 sets at first and they looked ok but opted to get two more and they look so lush, full, and rich! One set did come a bit uneven but the seller replaced those very promptly for me. They block out light wonderfully too! So much so that when we come in from the sunlight, we’re blind until we open these or turn on a light, lol (but the secret is to get enough sets) Love my new drapes! ... show more
