We tried (and succeeded), by use of these cables, in keeping dog bowls in the general area. Usually, once the dogs finish eating, they carry the dishes off as toys. Nothing was working. This time, we riveted stainless steel eye-pads onto the stainless dishes and then used these cables to secure to the porch. We have the ability to move them by just looping the cable around anything and then hooking up the attached clasp to the dishes. Excellent product. No idea how long till they rust -- depends on when the dogs chew the vinyl-like coating off - for today, we won't have to go find dog dishes before using them again, each and every time - fantastic! We have 3 Great Pyrenees dogs over 100 lbs and this has them puzzled for a bit. Until the figure this idea out, we are in luck for a spell. Thx for the product - would buy again. ... show more
